Great!
Comes sharpened, and with an extra replacement blade!! Didn’t know about that and very happy it did. That’s replaced using a cross head screwdriver. The saw folds away securely and is too stubborn to open easily when in a backpack, but easily opened by hand. When opened, it clicks and won’t fold until you press the button. Feels sturdy. I’m not sure how much it weighs exactly, it probably says in the description but judging by the feeling I’d say an equivalent to about 1 cola can. So very lightweight. Would recommend or buy again if needed. Hope this helps!

It's OK, but needs it teeth setting.
It's comfortable to use and reasonably sturdy (not as good as the Mossy Oak saw I have). The blade locks closed and open and secure enough. The spare blade is good to have but both blades have a problem in that the teeth are in line with the blade, which means it starts to bind when cutting thick wood.I set the teeth on mine by alternating bend one to the left and one to the right. Be careful as the teeth are hardened and will snap if bent too far. With the teeth set properly it's easy enough to saw through branches a few inches thick.

Works well
Bought to tidy a range of weeds in my horse's new field, that had been left unused for a few months. It's sawn through thick bramble stems, cut down lots of well established bracken, hog weed, very woody steamed nettles, and a couple of very young self-setting oak trees, as well as cutting some long coarse grass (although it more rips than cuts this). It actually works best on the thicker stuff, and makes light work of it.I find it slightly stiff to open, but that may just be my arthritic hands.

A Side-By-Side Test
This is a Japanese style saw, made in China and marketed by a Chinese brand. I own a decent collection of genuine Japanese made saws that I regularly use for carpentry projects, and I ordered this out of interest, to see how it compares with them. Would it perform as well as an original?Unlike their western counterparts, Japanese saws cut on the pull stroke, so the blades can be made a lot thinner. They're exceptionally sharp and cut extremely cleanly, with great precision. The reduced kerf translates to less material removal and less physical exertion. This saw is effectively a mini Ryoba, but shaped like a cut-off saw. So it's a slightly odd mix, in my opinion. The blade is noticeably stiffer than my original Japanese cut-off saw, and not best suited to the task as a result. The dowels I trimmed in my side-by-side test were not as cleanly cut by this saw, and the job was trickier. For general materials cutting I find the blade of this too short, unless used with small profiles, which suit it rather better. However, I'd have preferred finer teeth for this purpose, and the cutting action is not as smooth as it could be for fine work.I conclude that this mini saw is best suited to rough cutting small section timber, which is a bit too niche for my needs. My full sized Ryoba is faster and easier to use, even on small section, and my dedicated cut-off saw is more suitable for that task. I also don't recommend using this saw to cut green wood, as the teeth quickly clog up.We all have different tool needs, and this doesn't really suit mine. That's not to say it won't be perfect for you, though. Based on my experience and requirements I'll award three stars - a neutral rating, neither good, or bad. I'll stick to the saws I already own.

Bigger Than I Thought It Would Be
The media could not be loaded. Rubber handled folding saw that comes with a spare blade. The quality of the handle and the blade is quite good and the locking / release button provides a good amount of resistance so that the blade doesn’t flick out at speed.I tried it on our laurel bushes. It worked well on the thick brown branches but was hopeless on the green softer branches. The moral of that story is I should use secateurs on the young green branches instead!Reasonably priced saw. I expect this will come in handy from time to time.

Buon prodotto
Fa egregiamente il suo lavoro. È un po’ difficoltosa l’apertura della lama
