Does it get warm on prolonged usage? Especially the red light?

All of my small, powerful torches get a bit warmer if they are on for a prolonged period. Usually I only leave them on for short bursts, for finding a keyhole in the dark for example. I've never found them to get overly hot to the point that I've considered them dangerous. Hope that helps.

How bright is the torch.

The brightest is 1000 lumens, I can't believe how bright such a small torch can be, it's brighter than many larger torches, it's amazing.

Can I adjust the brightness?

Just press the on/off button, this torch has a bit of a variety of light modes and can be used in a wide range of scenarios, different settings can be switched on for different scenarios, I usually have it on bright enough for dark roads.
