Great slot length !
Finally a toaster that fits Warburtons Toastie and more importantly Scootish Plain bread without the need to cut crusts off. Great to be able to just pop the slice in with no squeezing in. Needed a 4 slicer so bought 2 x 2 slicers in order to get the longer length. Just Brilliant !. Toasts really well and very fast. I did my research and this is the only one that I could find that has this slot length. Hubby loves toast so happy to oblige more so now, joy to use. Happy toasting.

Great value for money
As far as I know, a toaster is a machine that toasts. This does just that. It has no electronic smart tricks. I can't switch it on when I'm away from it, nor switch it off either. So I'm not tempted to be extra clever with it. It toasts two slices at a time. And it does them quickly, and evenly. It is OK with tea cakes, so long as they aren't too thick. I squash the thicker section a bit flatter. It doesn't alter the taste. I have an oven with a grill which is better for food like cheese on toast, but as I only bought this for toasting I'm very happy with it. It wasn't very expensive either. I can recommend it to anyone wants something simple and efficient.

Good value
This is a nice little toaster with wide enough slots to take crumpets. A nice size if you don't have acres of work surface. It does feel a bit tinny but looks attractive and, at the price, is very good value.

This toaster changed my life
I used to have the anxiety of a border collie waiting to herd some sheep, sitting in front of the glass oven door ready to flip the bread at that exact perfect brown moment. Not anymore. Now, on the aptly named Russel Hobbs 23332, I just twirl the knob to my desired toast tanning level, sit back and enjoy a bliss free life. Unless, of course I twist the knob too far, and the fire alarm reminds me why therapists are a thing. As for the technical points, and as other reviewers have pointed out, it produces heat, and you can even toast your buns. Matches my kettle too. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Makes great toast
This toaster is great, can turn dial for more brown toast if needed, also toasts very quickly. Even large bread slots in easily.

Surpasses expectations!
I bought this one to replace my previous Russell Hobbs toaster which served me well for years, but was looking very tired. Firstly, I thought I would like some change and so I bought the Bosch TAT3A013GB, but returned it immediately as it felt very light, nothing but plasticky and cheap, on top of lacking in 'good looks' and costing more. This Russell Hobbs is an updated version of the one I had before - and what a great update this model is! This toaster continues to make consistently great toasts, but on this model the slots are elongated so a 'tall' slice of bread is to be inserted sideways, instead of in an upright position. The looks surpasses what you would expect from seeing the picture on the web site, and it has the quality feel that is associated only with the most expensive toasters on the market. I am very impressed with this one and totally recommend it.

Ok, but seems to cook too fast...
Nice little toaster. Pretty basic, nothing to sing and dance about. One thing I will say though is it seems like the settings aren't that great.Anything past the 3rd setting seems to burn your toast quite bad. I think there's 6 settings in total so you'd expect it to cook a lot more evenly.Even the 3rd setting is a little on the "well done side". We've resulted now into setting on no.1 and putting it in a couple times until it's to the desired amount of "toasted".Pro's.Sleek, wide slots for thicker bread, easy to use.Cons.Cooks too aggressively in my opinion. It's a toaster though, so as long as it cooks your bread then there's not really that much to worry about π.

Uneven browning fixed itself, leaving a pretty good toaster
Every toaster I researched on Amazon had at least one comment warning about uneven browning, so in the end I had to take a chance on this one. I ran it for one cycle with no bread in, as the instructions said, and then tried it with bread. I was dismayed to find the slice came out charred on one side and untouched on the other and thought I'd made a big mistake. Spoiler alert: I hadn't.After using the toaster a few more times, using the lift function to flip the slices around halfway through (very useful feature), I noticed that the problem seemed to be correcting itself. And indeed it seems to have gone away. Toast is now pretty even on both sides and doesn't need turning. Big relief. The slots are wide, which is lovely. My favourite sliced bread tends to have huge doorstops at either end, which this toaster accommodates without issue. I've also toasted bagels in it with no problem.Safety and points to note:-The browning dial goes from zero to charcoal very quickly, so start it on a very low setting and experiment with increasing it gradually to your preferred degree of yum. I also recommend putting a little white tack or white correction fluid on the knob to make it easier to see where it's pointing, because it's easy to knock by mistake.+Haven't tried cleaning it yet, but the crumb tray works fine and the outside can be easily wiped down.-Obviously the metal areas of the body get pretty hot. Be careful when reaching for the eject button (which isn't that easy to find, depending which way around the toaster is standing).+The lever doesn't get hot - I actually chose this toaster on that basis, being slightly motor impaired myself, because it looked as though the body of the lever was durable-seeming metal but the handle was large and made of insulating plastic. It is, and it works well.+The coloured side panels are plastic, so tend to get warm but remain safe to touch.+The toaster has a little rubber skirt around the bottom and it stands on four small legs. As a result, the counter underneath doesn't seem to get too hot.
