Oh my goodness!!

I can’t say enough great things about this!! I have curly, thick hair to my shoulders and I timed myself from start to little touch ups…..5 minutes!! YES! FIVE MINUTES! I don’t know about anyone else, but with a flat iron it takes me about 30 minutes. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!

Not for thick haired girls!

Ok so I’m just going to start by saying if I had actually paid the $50-60 this cost, I’d be terribly disappointed. Not loving this hair straightener.I am a Caucasian female with shoulder-length, thick and wavy hair. I have been using the same flat iron hair straightener for 15 years. So, I knew this has to be a bomb product for me to not use my favorite hair straightener. And I was so excited when it arrived. And now I’m super bummed.This product heats up very quickly but the temperature does not get hot enough for it to straighten my hair very well. I had to take the brush through the same strand three times for it to do but my normal hair straightener could do once.Probably will not use this again to be honest. Might be better for those with thinner hair. I’ll give it another chance and will update my post if needed but I don’t think my mind will change. Boo!

Give it time

This device takes a bit of time to heat up even if the display says that it has reached top temperature. I’d say it took an extra 10 minutes, in total. So keep that in mind.I do really like that this is relatively cool to the touch while using it. I took a chance and placed my finger on the comb part about half way through using it and it was only slightly warm. No burn! The back of it seems to get hotter than the front. As for how well it works? Well, I have backside length, dry, wavy, kinky, frizzed hair that hasn’t seen a box of dye since 2017. I have a lot of gray hair ( about half my head) and sensitive skin which requires me to use unscented shampoo/conditioner. These products, unfortunately, suck all the moisture from my hair. I don’t blow dry my hair, don’t use product and only occasionally (like once every 4 month) straighten it with a straighter or.. I have a straightening brush, which is probably 10 years old already. The FOxEASE straightening comb takes a bit longer to use than my iron. Also, unlike the iron, I had ALOt of frizzies popping out..but..this is exactly what happens when I use my straightening brush. The comb works really well, tho..I was able to catch every single hair on my head, including my shirt bangs, with it. I am not able to do that with my brush and if youve ever tried to straighten your bangs with a flatiron, you know it does nothing besides make them stick straight up and out! Lol the FOxEASE comb was able to make my bangs hang down loosely ..that in itself get 5 stars.The wire for this straightener is thick and long enough to be able to maneuver around my head. The whole product feels to be quite sturdy and well made. I definitely think this is easier to travel with than my straightening brush as it’s much more narrow and doesn’t get quite as hot to the touch. The only thing I wish this came with is a burn resistant glove and maybe a storage pouch. My hair got very hot while using this especially since I needed a few passes to get the hair perfectly straight. Also, the frizzies and flyaways did settle quite a bit after my hair cooled. If you use product on your hair, a tiny drop of gel or oil will help with flyaways anyway so…Yes, I recommend this product. It takes a bit longer to use but the results were very good and it is easy to stash away into a small tote bag for travel.I will update if any negative issues pop up but so far, so good!

This is a no go for me

I am surprised at all the stellar reviews for this FOXEASE Hair Straightener Brush Comb for Women/Girl, Fast Heating Dryer. Especially considering the headline name of this calls it a Fast hair dryer as you can see since I copy and pasted the name. THIS IS NOT A HAIR DRYER!!! I do not have any tolerance for brands claiming there product is something that it is clearly not.If that were the only problem I had then I might subtract a star and let it slide, but it’s far from the only issue I have with this. Basically this is one of those hot brushes. They heat up and then you can straighten your hair without using a straightener that are usually very damaging to your hair. In theory these sound great. But this particular one just didn’t work for me.This takes forever to heat up! Like 8 plus minutes, which is an insane amount of time considering most hair straighteners and brushes like this one take less than or about a minute to heat. But not this one! You will be waiting and waiting and waiting for this to heat up sufficiently!It’s also very difficult to use if you have long and thin hair like I do. Even if I brush the section immediately before using this it still finds a way to rip out multiple hairs every time since the hard “bristles” have no bend or five.I’m just overall not very impressed with this at all. But hey maybe it’s just me since other customers and reviewers seam to really enjoy it…
