I really don't know. Did not look into that. But I can tell you that if it works when you get it, chances are very good that it will work for many years. There is no stress on any parts or components when you use it in a kitchen environment.

Does this scale weigh grams to the decimal? Have been looking for a digital kitchen scale that does this to get more precise measurements

No it weighs whole grams it’s rather hard to find a scale that weighs the decimal unless it’s a chemist scale or a small one.

can you adjust the calibration on the scale if it is off?

All you have to do is power down and back up again to correct the calibration. If you need to weigh something in a container, placed the container on the scale BEFORE turning it on, to get an accurate weight.
