Stick is too short

I love these for ease and for size. I bought them to use with my 2 year grand daughter. I would have given them 5 stars except for the length of the stick. The real issue is the plastic stick is extremely short and very difficult for a young child to hold onto. I don't have them at my house but the stick measures to approx. 1 inch.
