Not sure how to grade sleap move, but I bought my Swiss-o-Miss or whatever from Kohls about 10 years ago. Put it away for a few years and kinda forgot about it during a move.Pulled it back out after a cheaper one burned out and fired it up and it was working great. Only problem was, all the buildup on the inside of the filter and reservoir.So I found this replacement cartridge, a new filter and it's working like new. Side note, really wish they still sold them as it's on it's last legs, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

These Hydro Cells need no comment to make sense in using them. They keep the interior of the AIR-O-SWISS water container clean if using tap water in your humidifier. You can skip these IF your water is soft enough OR if you are using distilled water, but when you do the math at ~$1.00/gallon these are much cheaper since you only need to replace, on average, about every three months. Please note that if you expect to see a difference in a new one and a three-month used one it is not going to happen. Time is the only criteria and so I replace every time I clean and flush the container.

I have used these in my Air-O-Swiss dehumidifier since it was new. Activated carbon is a highly adsorptive form of carbon, treated with oxygen used to remove, impurities from liquids. Activated carbon reduces heavy metals (such as lead, copper and mercury), organic impurities and pesticides that may be present in your tap water. It also reduces the growth of odor causing chemicals and bio-film to keep the humidifier fresh and clean.

Very happy with this product continue to purchase this product for my humidifier nothing else that I could say about this product but great product great for your humidifier if you're looking for any air o Swiss products this is an original product and works great with different models be sure to check which model that it works with would highly recommend this product to anybody who has an air o Swiss and is looking to maintain their humidifier

Even after thorough rinsing, there is a carbon residue in the reservoir. I don't see that this is worse than the silver stick, but I can't say that it is better.

Improvement to the old version of this which they stopped making. However this uses charcoal while the old one used silver which had antibacterial qualities. Charcoal only has odor filtering qualities.
