I can't get it to change colour although I have charged it.

If you have re ad the booklet that comes with it and it still doesnt change colour it might be best to contact the makers. I,m sure that the Amazon helpdesk could helpyou contact them? Chances areit could befaulty. Ifso itshould be replaced

It is charged when you get it and recharges via a USB port not batteries

Does this only work via remote control, or is there also a switch (so its easy to turn on in the dark)?

If the "book" is already open then it must be switched on/off using the remote control. However, if the book is closed, it is switched on by simply opening the book. In that case, the remote control is not needed.

What can I do if they sent me the wrong size? I ordered the medium and they've sent a small.... ! Which isn't on here at all?! no exchange available..

There are only two sizes - medium and large so if you have the one labelled medium, that is the samll one.
