Excellent lightweight tripod. I use this tripod for precision long range pew competitions. Most of the time I have a spotting scope on it but it can easily still hold my precision pew pew for making stable long range work. Light enough to haul around from stage to stage yet strong enough to feel confident holding my 23lbs pew maker.

When the 4th (the thinest leg) is extended some instability may be experienced. Otherwise the tripod is rock steady.

This one hits the sweet spot for me - light enough to carry, tall enough for most non-studio applications, including MF digital and 8x10 monorail. Slightly longer folded than the 365, but a lot stiffer due to only 4 sections.

I actually use it for a small grab-n-go refractor telescope on a small tracking mount, and it's perfect. I have a smaller carbon tripod for travel or backpacking in the mountains, and although very light, this is more than I would carry. But for my purpose, it's great. The quality is surprisingly high. Locks engage and disengage with just a small turn, and the contact feels very positive. Legs sections slide smoothly. It's stable under load and the fit and finish are top notch.Plus, it was an absolute steal on Amazon Warehouse or Amazon Deals, or whatever it's called for the returned stuff, which I didn't even know about until then.

Je cherchais un grand trépied, solide et assez gros pour maintenir un Nikon D500 avec une 200-500mm, ou ma Nikon P1000, sans devoir ré-hypothéqué ma maison. Après 5 utilisations, j’adore ce trépied. Même chargé il ne bouge pas. Les tubes sont énormes et pourtant l’ensemble est assez léger pour que je le traîne dans mes longues sorties!
