The media could not be loaded. Like one of the other reviews says 3kw setting is too hot for me it’s for wok masters! When cooking I find using the power dial is best to control the heat. The other settings for temperature and timer seem a bit odd. When you select the mode you want it seems to reset the rest back to standard settings. Maybe it will become clearer after more use. Really good for stir frying though, getting really hot quickly even at standard 2000w setting. I even made some jam in it for practice using there stainless wok I bought as well.Even with the odd mode buttons I can give it a five as it impressed me on shear performance.

Very good if you don’t have gas and need something with more power to cook using a wok. Heats up very fast giving it the authentic Chinese esq stir fried style food.

Had ones from adexa. 5 woks burned in few days.. Got those as a replacement. Work with ni issues. The bowl could be a bit deeper, also it heat like it pukse- heat, no heat, heat.. But apart that it is absolutely fine. Need to set power to 1200 and then is spot on.

I have been toying with the idea of buying one of these for some time having been cooking Chinese food for over 30 years but never being able to achieve the heat needed for ‘Wok Hai’. This thing does it, ignore people who say you need flames, you don’t. It’s about heat and the way oil reacts to it. This gets supper hot so you really do have to manage the heat carefully. The only issue I had was seasoning the wok due to the the temperature cut off. It can be done but requires patience and a systematic approach as you cool the wok and focus on a different area. This really has elevated my Chinese cooking !!!

Never could get enough heat into my carbon steel wok, until I purchased this wok induction hob, this really is a very powerful unit. I had a question about the display being very blurred, so I contacted the seller through amazon, explaining the issue, they said they had not experienced this problem before, but without question they sent out a replacement. Now no problem. Excellent customer service, l would recommend this item if you are serious about wok cooking.

This is an excellent product which had first presented only one small problem: the high temperature and safety cut-out prevented me from tempering a new wok. I have found the solution! Two layers of fireproof cloth placed between the wok and the heater allow the wok to become redhot without tripping the cut-out Hooray! 👍
