Now I just want to preface this by saying this isn't payed, or rewarded for me giving this review, I in fact have never written an Amazon review. After a year of having this back that, I figured I would get to it. Out of the hundreds and hundreds of items I have ordered on Amazon, this one is stuck out to me and has driven me to write an amazing review on it. I am military, and I use this backpack as my daily backpack. for a year I've been working on the flight line, and have thrown this thing around, beat it up, loaded and unloaded it with anything under the sun, have attached many things to it like waterbootles, tools, and anything I might need to carry with me. All except for a broken stitch in the strap, it hasn't batted an eye. It has taken the most beating out of anything I have ever owned and lasted far longer than any backpack I have had before it. Good work. I would deffinately recommend you invest in this

I absolutely love this bag. I was looking for something that can be used for anything from school,weekend trips and camping/hiking. Although I haven't had the chance to use it for hiking, it definitely meets my expectations. There is plenty of room for your stuff, but you can also use the straps to compress the bag for when you don't have a lot to carry. I will update my review to see how it actually stands up to extended use and any water resistance that it claims. The only critiques that I have are rather very small compared to what you get. The first is that it doesn't make sense not to have end's stitched to the shoulder straps so that they don't fall out. They even include how to fix it in the pictures but it should be designed for that not to be a problem. Second is that although the bag is fitted to have a hydration bladder inside the large compartment, the hole for the hose seems just a little too small for thicker hoses to fit through. Those are just VERY minor problems with an other wise amazing product. It would be stupid not to buy this bag over other similar bags you find at Cabela's for twice the cost.

Incredible backpack for a reasonable price.The overall storage and utility is very impressive. The shoulder straps are super comfortable.The dimensions picture made it seem to skinny to fit my 15.6 laptop, but it does in the largest pocket (which is wider than the 9" shown)I'm very satisfied with the quality of this bag and recommend it.

I was in the market for a backpack type bag that can hold a ton of stuff, because when flying, i hate having to check bags, and dont really feel like paying 25 bucks each way for a rolling carry on. This fit the bill exactly! Im sure it has awesome tactical purposes, but straight up - its a great sized bag, but counts as a personal item (free) when flying, and looks pretty bad ass! I love the murdered out black on black on black. Cant wait to fly again now that i have this beast!

I agree with the other reviews. The bag isn't perfect, its on the heavy side for hiker, the waist belt could have been upgraded (it's like a seatbelt with crude adjustments), and you need to purchase a MOLLE compatible pouch for fast access water bottle (unless you are using a bladder). But those slight minuses are FAR outweighed by the fact this bag is under $35! Huge pluses besides the insane value: clamshell main compartment, top buckle system for stowing rain jacket or oversized item, durable nylon, beefy zippers and endless customization options.

I'd like to thank amazon for not uploading my original review that included pictures that were obviously deleted because they were uploaded straight to the site. Long story short, I got caught in a rainstorm for several mins. and my $900 laptop, charger, its case, my car key fob, and my $200 textbook for college got water damaged in this "waterproof" bookbag. I've served in the military and know the capabilities of a rucksack and a "bugout" back and this is far from it. To advertise this bag as waterproof is very misleading. I now have hundreds of dollars in damages thanks to this bag. FYI Several hours later the inside of my bag is still wet. There's literally beads of water inside of this bookbag.

I've only used this bag for school related stuff but it has been amazing. I found myself stuffing the pockets with stuff I didn't need because there is so much space. Fits my 15 inch laptop, multiple textbooks with no problem, and that is just the main compartment. There is so much space in this bag, would definitely be great for camping and hiking and plan to use it for that.

Update: this bag has proven to not be water resistant. Since I use it as a day bag, I carry a change of clothes. Well, my past couple events it rained. The clothes in the bottom of my bag were wet, electronics had been wet. I'm quite disappointed when I went to change out of my wet socks from working in the rain only to find the change of clothes in my bag are just was wet as I'm taking off.Changed review from 5 stars to 2I drive a semi for event hospitality, so I use it as a go bag. I have a change of clothes in large pocket, paperwork in second part, work stuff and on site needs in bottom front pocket and USB power cords and electronics in small pocket up top. Everything has a place and this bag holds it well.I bought a small medical bag to put on the front since we don't have one for our events (don't know why), and I shower bag that uses the rings on the top beside carrying strap. When I have a jacket, it was gets strapped on the side.Keys, knives, flashlights and other small items fit perfectly in the molle straps and still leaves room for more to add.Only problem I have is that the back has no frame, so my clothes in the large pocket unevenly pushes out the back and puts pressure on my back. Not necessarily an issue that needs corrected by company,

The straps don't have stitches stops on the end, so you can pull the shoulder strap right our, which is a pain. The straps don't stay right at all, every time I put the pack on, I have to readjust the straps.However, the backpack is as functional as you'd think, and there is a storage place for nearly everything I own for my day trips. I also use this pack for my motorcycle Gear on the road. I'm not sure I would buy it again, I'd look for a more reputable name brand. But if you are in a budget, then this is the pack for you. It's definitely functional, but you get what you pay for with this one.

Excellent quality, everyone asks where I've got it. This bag takes a beating, collapses pretty small when it's not full but also expands quite huge. Waterproofing is great but the zippers aren't taped, so just pack electronics in the deeper pockets and you're good. There's a ton of internal organization too.I've seen a lot of versions of this bag in person at various stores (particularly cheap surplus stores) and none of them compare to the quality of this one... and most are double the price.Very pleased. I'd buy another in a minute, but I doubt I'll need to for years!

Great bag. Lots and lots of storage space in this expandable bag. I bought it for use as a bug out bag and it's holding everything I wanted with room to spare. Good build quality, has held up really well so far. It's comfortable, I wouldn't want to pack it around for a full day and the hip straps aren't great but they do the job.Overall a really good product for the price range.

This was my office while commuting every second week from Vancouver to Fort St. John for a six-month project, by plane and work-commuter bus.The bag carried my 15.6-inch laptop, peripherals, small business binders, notebooks, stationery, and some small diagnostic tools.Six months later, and after some abuse, the bag is still holding firm despite some minor fraying.The downside is there isn't much padding for the computer compartment.

Für den Preis ein wirklich guter Rucksack.Ich habe ihn nun schon seit Jahren im täglichen Einsatz. Zuerst für die Schule (Ordner, Bücher, Stifte, Sportzeug etc. passen), dann für den Job und für Einkäufe genutzt und nutze ihn nach wie vor. Viel Platz, viele Fächer und viele Einsatzmöglichkeiten. Bin zufrieden und für den Preis echt ok
