Finishing Details Could Be Better, But a Nice Bag Overall
I bought this bag to travel with when I go to Japan this summer. I wanted to test out the durability and comfort of this bag to make sure it will hold up to daily use. I also wanted to know just how much I could pack, and what the maximum load would feel like. While I am still experimenting with packing the bag, it does hold all of my school gear which includes a tablet, some books, a lightweight double hammock with tree straps, light rain shell, miscellaneous papers and writing utensil, snacks, and a drink. I love the way the zipper on the side helps with packing things in efficiently. I have these zippered toiletry bags that fit perfectly and are great for even more compartmentalization. (I'll add a photo if there's a request in the comments/reply.)While I am in love with the form-factor, and the 3 different ways this bag can be carried, I am concerned with the actual finishing of the bag. Perhaps I got a "bad" bag, but the straps for the back pack configuration feels unfinished to me. I say this because they were unattached when I opened. It wouldn't have been terrible if the webbing that goes through the buckles were actually long enough not to slip out. (I am interested to see if anyone else has encountered this problem.) All of my other backpacks have the webbing folded over and stitched so the straps won't slip out accidentally. My second picture illustrates how close to the buckles these short straps can get to. I am 5'7" and this is the strap adjustment I have to wear the bag comfortably. The only other detail that is slightly upsetting to me is that there is a little bit of fraying. I took these pictures on the second day of wearing the bag. During the first day, I had not noticed the stray material. In my third picture, it is somewhat difficult to see what I am talking about since the threads are so fine, but the lighter "s" shaped line are filaments or threads that had frayed off from the seam.Out of the two issues, the straps not being properly attached is the bigger problem; I have already accidentally completely quick released the whole strap! This is terrible on my shoulder because all of the weight suddenly shifts and creates pressure. I have to be very mindful not to pull on the straps too much which is difficult if you enjoy resting your hands on the straps while walking.Other than the issue with the straps, I enjoy using this bag. If you're looking to use the sternum strap, it's a little bit tight (again, not enough webbing!) but manageable.I plan on updating this review after my trip, but send me a comment if there are any burning questions!

One of the best travel backpacks money can get you!
Bought this for my trip to Europe this summer. I am very impressed with the quality of this backpack. It did arrive with the left armstrap a bit torn (only reason I’m giving it 4 stars and not 5) but that can be fixed. It is incredibly spacious and can be carried in many ways. Compartments are deep and you should be able to fit two 17 inch laptops with their sleeves. You can pack everything you need for a 6+/4+ day trip in this bag (figures for summer and winter clothing respectively), possibly more depending how you pack. I added a canvas belt between the two straps on the front so now it can be carried as a duffel bag too as I find the shoulder strap provided to be a bit to fragile for how I treat it. It doesn’t have as much molle webbing on the front as other backpacks but that is fine with me as I put some patches on it to decorate it. There is some on the side too if you want to add on a water bottle holder but the side pocket is deep enough to fit my 40oz yeti tumbler so unless you have one of those big Voss bottles you shouldn’t need the extra gear. It comes with a black nylon cover for the bag when it starts to rain.

Suitcase/backpack carry IS a nice idea, and this does not stick out so ...
one open unusable interior compartment. As it can be carried vertically OR horizontally, ANYTHING heavy will move around in the bag, and actually most stuff just moves around as if it was inside a washing machine. Can't find anything as it's not where YOU PUT IT. I did use it on a couple trips of many months. Suitcase/backpack carry IS a nice idea, and this does not stick out so far that when you turn around you whack people in a crowd. The zipper failed and that was the last straw. Oh and the exterior pockets, they're actually going to intrude into the inside main compartment, virtually useless. IF all you carry is clothing, it might work for ya.

Coolest backpack ever!
I got it for cycling. I ride to school and I need to be able to fit my supplies and biking equipment in one place. I always hated having to use my shorts pockets for my stuff or carry my helmet. Now I can just shove everything inside here! My favorite part is how its slim. You don't have to look like a turtle anymore. It also has a padded laptop pouch in the back. I've been able to fit Xboxes, PlayStations, projectors and computers in the pouch. (Not together.) I was able to load about 30. Pounds of stuff in here during and supply transportation task of my friends computer equipment. I was able to fit a keyboard, mouse; various cables for both. A laptop, projector, and two big CD cases inside. It spreads the weight well and provides nice aesthetics. I love it!

I ordered this pack when I was looking for a new pack to carry when I do overnight trips. I didn't even realize that it had so many pockets and pouches and zippers. So far this pack has far surpassed my expectations and I feel 100% safe throwing my laptop in the pocket and chucking it on the back of my truck or in my trunk without worry of damage. This pack has ample padding for my laptop along with plenty of space for everything else I may need to bring. I only wish they had black available when I placed my order!

Poor workmanship
I really liked this backpack when I first got it. It was the perfect size and would be great for traveling. However, it is not very sturdy. The zippers are too small for the fabric. The main zippers kept coming open while traveling, which is very inconvenient in the middle of an airport or while taking the bag out of the overhead luggage compartments on an airplane. I would not recommend it for that reason. The company needs to rethink the zippers they are using for this bag.
