HP Color LaserJet Pro M254dw (HP M254dw + Full XL OEM Toner Bundle)

Bought one. Print quality great. Lovely machine. Bought aftermarket cartriges MUCH MUCH MUCH cheaper than the ludicrously priced HP ones. Worked great for many months until the printer (not the computer but the printer itself) auto updated it's firmware and that was it. As a tech background person I was unable to get it to work with the nonHP cartriges anymore. Put genuine ones in and all is fine, turn off the settings that suposedly monitor the 'genuineness' of cartriges and guess what? Each time you put non HP ones in it locks up and 'warns' you that you are using non HP equipment. If you've got a weak heart DON'T go see how much HP wants for cartriges. So it is going in the bin and I will NEVER NEVER NEVER buy HP anything again.............................................
