I have had this camera for a couple of weeks now and so far so good. The setup was really simple, and the menu options are simple to understand. The video quality is good enough to get accurate visual record of what’s going on around you. It does show wide angle of the road. The picture quality is good enough to clearly pick up license plate numbers when close or stopped. Even when I am driving toward the sun in the morning and afternoon to and from work the glare fromthe sun isn’t bad, so you can still seewhat happen if there is a accident. The power cord provided was long enough to hide the wire in my interior panels around to my rear view mirror. It is nice to know that if I am involved in a car accident or anything them I know I’ll have video evidence of happened. Absolutely love the night vision capabilities. It doesn’t come with SD card and you need to purchase it separately.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Video quality is fine, ease of use is fine, wifi is fine. G-sensor works as it should, slam your door and its starts recording.. (I set mine to high sensitivity) Date sync is problematic, it syncs to wrong date, most importantly Picture quality on photos are not good, even on the highest setting which is 12MB, supposed to be high-res, the dpi is so low to 72, you can't read license plate if the car is further than few feet. So if you look at the specs of the pic I posted its really not 12MB its more like 4MB tops in 72 DPI. what good is that? And the picture won't have the GPS data as its displayed nicely on videos. . I was hoping photo quality would be better then video but the video quality actually better.. Not sure how or why. Another problem that bugs me is, after connecting to camera via WIFI, which is works fine, you can download the images and viideos to your phone, however they're nowhere to be found. You can only view them thru the app.. And app doesn't zoom in on images. So you can share it, as if you were sending to someone, then you can get a hold of it.. but it's too much work. Overall its ok. but 85 bucks is not cheap. See the media I attached and you decide yourself. BTW at the red light, you can read license plate comfortably. Not posting it for privacy concerns. The zoomed in image showing white SUV is posted in BMP format which is uncompressed however amazon's compression for images probably be in play. So that was the photo image where you can't read the plates if not very close to the car. Any questions? I'll be happy to help.

My cigarette lighter is always on...therefore, the camera does not shut off. On my other one (Vantruex1) it automatically shuts off after a few minutes even when the power is on. You have to plug it in and unplug it every time you stop or it continues recording. Many other brands automatically shut off after a few minutes of the engine turning off.

It get warm after used for about 45 min even screen off. Battery life so short. Power on/off by itself.

I enjoyed them so much. The image/video quality was pretty surprising for what you get... sharp and clear. The night performance was also a surprise as it captured good details with low-light conditions. There is no complaints in this area for the Yi dash cam. I downloaded the app for both iOS and Android... pretty easy to setup. The wife knows how to use... Like all other camera, they push the limits with a bad compression or low fps video to get a higher resolution for marketing. So that said, if you really want a 4K camera, this camera sucks and they know it. By default, it's set to 1080p. However, it's an excellent 1080p @ 60Hz for at a good price. I've previously purchased a 1080p camera and it was a fake 1080p, more like a 720p or even 480p stretched with bad compression to 1080p. I've removed a start for this marketing strategy, but if you want a good 1080p camera, this one is awesome! At the same time, do you really think getting a 4K camera at 90$?It doesn't come with a SD card, so you will need to purchase it.If you are looking for a good 1080p camera with GPS, I would highly recommend this camera. Also, it's small and well hidden. The wire is long enough to pass through the car mount and all the way to the car's lighter.

tres mauvaise qualité , je m'en suis servi environ 10 fois et l'enregistrement est ajusté pour faire des boucles aux 5 minutes et elle fige apres environ une minute , donc elle enregistre une minute a toute les 5 minutes , tres déçu de mon achat !!

My son is very happy with this dash cam

Works great. I like the wifi feature. My other dashcam is an Aukey DR01 and after almost a year it developed a problem remembering its settings every time it turned on. So, I ordered this camera and have to suggest this to other people. It is the Adzone camera but at a better price. Same camera, same software... same happiness.
