Arrived super fast and in perfect condition in retail packaging. Worked flawless on on a 20 yr old Sony mega disc cd changer that was having issues skipping during playback of cds. Ran it 5 times just because it’s an older disc player. Problem solved . If you’re having a lens issue in any type of music or movie disc player try this first before panicking .

This disc fixed my 30+yr old JVC CD player issue. CD player started getting stuck/repeating/not advancing on multiple CDs so I knew it was a player issue and not the CDs.Bought this disc and popped it in the player. Fixed the player issues immediately!The audio instructions are terrible so just do this:- Put the CD in the player (brush side down of course).- IGNORE the audio instructions and let the disc play. It should play track 1 for about 1:03, then it will play track 2 which will play/clean (in silence) for about 9:14 then it stops. Once track 2 appears to have stopped playing for a while (around 9:14), select track 3 (which stops the cleaning process). Track 3 does not play and the disc will go back to track 1. Cleaning is now complete and you can eject the disc and try playing your own CDs.WELL WORTH the low price!

Like others have said, track 3 doesn’t have any sound and the instructions don’t say how long it runs. Track 1 has music and the instructions say to skip to track 3 when the music stops. I did that. The disk was spinning on track 3 so maybe it’s supposed to run for a long time? Track 1 ended pretty fast.I used it on two boomboxes. One just said “No disk”. It wouldn’t read a disk before I tried to clean it, so I can’t say anything about that one but the other boombox no longer skips.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Kept getting "Disk Error" in my car and feared it was an expensive fix. Maxelle to the rescue and did the trick saving me countless hundreds!!!

I bought this for an original x box was having problems reading games put it in now it dosent read at all/used on dvd blue ray stage 1 2 quit never finished 123 steps but jumped failure. put it in laptop it was ok.would not buy this again not sure if it could but did kill my kids xbox dvd reader lots of good games no player. darn you microsoft billions in games sales of x boxes and you cant even have replacement , hope this helped feel like you get what you pay for . would not buy this ! could of been defective

Since the product does NOT work, the one star is too high of a rating!!!Item has three tracks to clean compact disc player. Step I seems to work as described, then In skipped track 2 has directed and went to track 3. Nothing happens with track 3, no sound as it suppose to produce or anything thing at all.Since I am not allowed to return item per Amazon notes, I'm attempted to contact Maxwell by phone, what joke that was. I realize that this is only a $5.00 item but I really dislike being screwed.

The factory CD player in my 27 year old 1998 Toyota RAV4 could barely play any CDI literally had to run this disc maybe 20 times before it started to work 100%. But that was way easier than removing the CD unit & opening it up to clean manuallyWorth every penny & would readily recommend
