A Great buy at a great price
This was our 2 yo daughter's big Christmas present this year and so far she's played with it from the time she wakes up until she goes to sleep. It's colorful, durable and obviously attractive to kids. Beware, though. This kitchen takes 4-5 hours to put together. There are literally like 50 wooden parts and probably a few hundred screws that you have to use. It's not hard, just time consuming. I would definitely buy this again, even knowing the time it takes to put it together.

Exceeded Expectations!
Now I know this brand has got some slack about the quality of their products, but after much searching and careful comparison of good and bad reviews, I decided to get this kitchen for my 4-year-old. I did not notice any noxious fumes, I guess that is just a rare and random issue some are having with this brand. All the pieces were accounted for, with numbered stickers on each piece, the screws arrived in alphabetized compartments to be easy to find....I could go on and on about how well this was put together to make it easy to put together! ;) Some have said it took them 4 hours to assemble - but it only took me and my husband 2 hours TOPS. Now that said, he is a carpenter and is very handy figuring out things - it may take other people longer to assemble. But the quality is great and it's SUPER CUTE! If you're thinking about getting a kitchen for your kid - I would definitely recommend taking a chance on this one!

My 3 year old's response, "I Love It"
My daughter was super happy when I began to unbox the kitchen pieces. And became thrilled when it started to look like a real kitchen. The reviews I read when I was deciding to buy it, were all very accurate about everything! It was smaller than I had expected, took many hours to put together, there were a couple of cosmetic issues, not all of the holes lined up. But once it was all complete she just wanted to play all night. The main issue I had putting it together was two screws that attached the top to the base. I had to slide my small hands through the back to get them in and to make it harder I could not see if everything was lined up. My husband did try to help once he arrived but his hands were too big to even fit. The directions were easy to follow. Defintely should have used the electric screw driver, as my wrist is hurting today.The box came with so much packing that it took a while to clean up afterwards. But all the pieces were there and only one was not labeled. It is so cute and I know she will enjoy it for years. For the cost I would have hoped it would have been just a little bigger but, she is happy so I can forgive that.

Awesome kitchen set.
my three year old loves this kitchen, and has had it now for about a year. It is smaller than it looks, so I would say that by the time she is 5 it will feel too small for her. Be careful when you are putting these kitchens together - I have had 4 kidkraft kitchens (I own a daycare) and if you tighten the parts up too much, they will crack and/or cause the kitchen to become "rickety" very quickly. If you leave everything a little loose, it will hold up and move much easier.

Cute!
Over all the kitchen is good. The sink could have been a different material. It's like a cheapy painted plastic. My toddler wrote on it with a washable marker and it is still stained. The little blastic slot where the microwave door closes arrived broken and one board came in with the holes for the screws in the wrong position so it has a board that is off center. Just looks bad. Other than that my daughter loves it.

So pretty!
This kitchen is so colorful. My daughter loves it. Just a warning it took about 3 hours for my husband and I to put together. It is very sturdy and I plan on having this for years to come. I have other wooden kid kraft products and they have lasted for years. I love that it's wood and not plastic. The stove burner and knobs came damaged in transit, ordered a replacement but I'm hoping that I don't have to disassemble and reassemble.

I loved how organized the pieces and screws were. Everything is what I ecpacted and I can not wait to give it to her for her birthday!! I am very excited to play with it too. :)
