Illy Intense coffee beans are the best, most consistent coffee beans we've had - ever. We've had whole coffee beans from tons of niche roasters, plus the usual variety of roasters such as Lavazza, Starbucks, Peet's, Seattle's Best, Stumptown, Carabou, etc. We've also had many of the highly ranked beans such as Jamaica Blue Mtn., Pure Kona and so forth. The consistency and taste of the Illy Intenso is what makes them our go-to coffee. Negative: I don't like how the lid doesn't screw on tightly, and the cans are easily damaged during shipping. But as for the coffee, it's awesome.

We have a Breville Coffee maker and spent a lot of time and money finding the “perfect” coffee bean to use with it. We considered things like taste, oiliness and price. Neither my husband or myself like strong coffee, so we tended to stay away from espresso beans. This coffee is just the right blend of mildness/flavor. Not too strong, not too weak. It also doesn’t leave an oily residue in our coffee grinder, which is so nice! The coffee is a little pricey but certainly won’t break the bank. And we prefer this coffee to most coffee-shop, so we save a ton of money by making our coffee at home! We love this coffee so much, we have it on subscription so we never have to go without.

Best coffee for my breville!!

Only coffee we use at home, a testament to its consistent quality and delicious taste! It is a premium choice known for its rich, balanced flavor with notes of chocolate and caramel. Love that they vacuum-seal for freshness. The packaging is sustainable which is a huge plus.

I'm Italian and I love Espresso. Illy is more expensive, but it has the better taste.Usually I buy the cheaper Lavazza Oro or the more cheaper Lavazza Espresso, but but when I need cuddles I take Illy.IMPORTANT: In my experience (and I think it is useful for everyone) if I grind this Illy in the same way as the Lavazza the filter clogs and the coffee does not come out, or comes out too slowly. It is important to grind it a little coarser, but not excessively because the machine (I use a Breville Barista) must still be pressurized for a correct extraction.

I was introduced to Illy when I was on an airline flight cross country. It was the first time I was actually impressed with the flavor of coffee made in an aircraft, so much so that I now order by the case for my personal use at home. I order the beans because I have a grinder but I have also ordered the pre-ground and it is just as good. For you coffee lovers out there, this is definitely a must have.

I received a nice gift card and treated myself to this 6 can offer. When I travel, I always enjoy illy coffee; served at many high-end hotels. Not disappointed. All 6 cans arrived as described, no dents and all had lids. Recommend. Love this coffee!

I usually get with compartments from the coffee company. Today, everything was thrown in and several of the cans are dented. Since the coffee is vacuum packed, this may affect the quality.
