Tatreez & Tea: Embroidery and Storytelling in the Palestinian Diaspora

I love all needlework, so it was really amazing to learn about Palestinian embroidery. I got the book in color and the photos of the dresses and all of the embroidery was just gorgeous. It’s a wonderful book full of stories of Palestinian lives and tea. Lots of tea recipes. The book is a treasure. I highly recommend.

It should be in every library in every house, amazing study, amazing information, with lot of important details and patterns.I LOVE IT ♥️🙏

I enjoyed reading about tatreez and family history. I wished the quality of the paper and cover was thicker.

I bought kindle edition and loved it, and I got excited for more detailed and storytelling book. As the book said " you're not just filling out a blank space with stitches , you are giving your life story through your embroidered dress. its so important to keep our heritage, our story told from generation to generation and what a beautiful way to tell it through tatreez and tea. Thanks Wafa for such a great job.
