I was looking to try a retinol alternative since I’m still breastfeeding my baby. But also all the side effects of retinol for the payoff wasn’t worth it to me especially if you are pregnant, trying to get pregnant, breastfeeding etc. they highly advise to not use ANY retinol while pregnant and breastfeeding. I haven’t been using any retinol since getting pregnant and kept telling myself I would get an alternative. Finally a year and a half later here we are lol.So I usually order stuff from yesstyle or olive young but I didn’t want to commit to a big order just for bakuchiol and that’s when I saw this. I was a little wary because I’ve never heard of this brand but I see an immediate plump & glow after just a week of using it! Also the price is more than fair! I have rosacea and sensitive combo skin. I feel like after using this for just a week in combination with my normal routine it’s been very effective. My skin feels better and I see a visible difference. I wish I took before and after photos !! The bottle feels nice and just one “pump” covers my whole face. It also says made in Korea which is a big plus for me! So if you are looking for a retinol alternative this one is great!

After using it for a month, I bought my second bottle!I have rosacea and cannot use retinol, because it irritates my face . This alternative does NOT .. it makes my face feel firm and tight after I massage it on my face ! I don’t expect it to remove my wrinkles . But I’m 52 and have noticed a difference..highly recommended it . P

I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and bought this serum because it claims to cause "zero skin irritation." I usually read ingredient lists carefully before trying new skincare, but this time I fell for the hype.After the first use, my pores looked smaller and my skin had a subtle glow. So far, so good. But by the second use, my skin turned red, inflamed, and covered in tiny bumps. It felt extremely tender and even stung when I washed it off and applied my usual soothing moisturizer.When I finally checked the ingredients, I saw it contains fragrance and essential oils like Limonene, Linalool, Lavender, and Bergamot. These are all potential irritants for sensitive skin, and I’m assuming they were the cause.I really wanted this to work, especially since it's packed with ceramides. But if your skin is anything like mine, I’d skip this one.

This serum is a game changer for me. I’ve tried many vitamin c serum and there not that effective, but this serum has improved my dark scars on my face. And it doesn’t leave your face dry it actually moisturize your skin.
