Overall, way better than the Bose Sleepbuds II that these replaced! I love them!
I had a pair of Bose Sleepbuds (MKII) for 2 years and loved them for getting a good night sleep, and not getting disturbed by noise. When Bose discontinued them, and my first pair of Sleepbuds died (battery issues), I was gutted as I assumed I wouldn't be able to find a decent replacement. Then I discovered these, and I absolutely love them. They are WAY better than the Bose Sleepbuds in my opinion for an number of reasons:1. They will work as a normal blue tooth pair of earbuds, and they actually sound great! I often use them for workouts and the likes.2. The battery life is loads better than the Bose sleep buds for overnight use in sleep mode.3. The sleep sounds are much more customisable and you can layer different sounds on top of each other to create a custom sleep sound. The flexibility is fantastic.4. They cost less than half the price of what the Bose Sleepbuds were, but are a lot more feature rich.5. The carry/charging case isn't unnecessarily huge like the Bose Sleepbuds. It's also nice and light. In addition, the battery life of the case is also much better than the Bose and I can generally get 5-6 nights out of a single case charge before having to recharge the case. (That's with wearing the buds all night long each night)6. The way the buds go back into the charger case is a better design than the Bose, and I've never had the buds fail to make proper contact with the case (a issue I had regularly with the Bose).7. The passive noise cancellation (without masking) is much better than the Bose and even with no masking, they do a great job of blocking out the noise.8. They are more comfortable to wear at night than the Bose. I did get use to the Bose, but these, I forget are even in my ears, and I'm a side sleeper! The ONLY one negative I can report is the "wing" retention system just isn't quite as good as the Bose sleep buds, and sometimes they feel a little loose despite having the largest fitments installed. However I've never had one fall out overnight, it's more they sometimes unseat themselves and I need to reposition them for a better seal against my ear canal. However this is likely a product of my ear shape and the product design, and with all the other positives, I can definitely live with this and have found a position that minimises this problem.Apart from that one minor point, these are absolutely perfect. I love them and take them everywhere with me when I travel. If you're a post-Bose Sleepbud user like myself, I can highly recommend these as a replacement, or more to the point, an upgrade. Full marks to Anker for their engineering on these. They have done a stellar job!

Better sleep when needed.
I have been using these for a while now and find them a godsend. I am a light sleeper and am one of those people who need a very dark room and quiet to sleep. I bought these initially for when I return to my parents to try to reduce sleep disturbances (people getting up in night etc) and now I am using them to help reduce external noise (traffic etc when windows are open in hot weather). They work well. They are easy to use. Fit comfortably and as I side sleeper I can wear most of the night without too much difficulty. The app in my opinion is good. The fact that you can start with music or audible and when the buds sense you have fallen asleep it switches to the background noise in the soundcore app that you have selected. The noise cancellation is only partially (but I didn’t buy them for this). The battery life is excellent too and you can ‘ping’ the earbud if it’s been misplaced via the app. I have had a couple of times when the app has been problematic, but for the most part I use with incident. They are my most expensive pair of earbuds (and I managed to get them on a Black Friday deal) but a decent nights sleep is priceless so I think it’s money well spent!

Amazing first few decent nights rest I have had in a long time
Edit 19-11/2024 I am changing my review to one star, my earbuds have failed, the right one works fine although there is now no sound coming from the left one, I reset them they work for 2 minutes to an hour, then fail again and unfortunately it seems the support service from Soundcore are delaying my replacements by asking stupid irrelevant questions like, telling me to adjust my pillow or clean the buds, I can assure you I have cleaned them many times and it’s obvious if your pillow is blocking the sound and all you have to do is move your head not reset the headphones four or five times a night, such a shame such a lot of money wasted and now I have nothing to help me rest after having become dependent on these over the last few months, well except my original A10s which are not even comparable to the A20s for battery life and comfort, I never thought I would have to change my review and I have recommend these to so many people and organisations like Headway the brain injury charity and my daughter has even purchased two pairs of soundcore headphones on my recommendation, I’m probably responsible for many pairs being sold and now I feel sick to my stomach, not because they failed because of the response from Soundcore customer support on a supposed no quibble two year warranty, will update…Update: 27/11/2024Contacted Amazon who corrected this for me and gave me a refund, which I have used to purchase another pair of A20s as there is nothing else like this out there, the A10s are all sold out and I have been using them as a replacement as luckily I had a pair, although they don’t last all night and they are not very comfy in your ears for extended periods, especially after using the A20s I think I have been spoiled, anyway, hopefully this won’t happen again. And I have had an apology from Soundcore customer support. It was delays in communication, different time zones and language barriers that caused all this. So I’m upping my rating again to 4 stars, I’m hoping I can up it to five again after testing out my replacement A20s for a while as it looks like they have changed the case. It is nice to have them back though, the difference in comfort and longevity is miles apart from anything else on the market at the moment, so suck it up buttercup. Also, massive thanks to Amazon for stepping in I appreciate this enormously… Now just have to wait till the refund goes back on my card.Original review…These are great for sound blocking even with no sound playing as in the ambient or white noise sounds you can play directly from the earbuds without the need for Bluetooth connectivity, this obviously saves battery life, they connect instantly, you can switch between modes with a double tap, customer support are excellent, the batteries last all night and even have 40/50/60% left in the morning depending how long I’ve listened to my android tablet which I use just as an audiobook player. When you drift off to sleep they automatically switch to sleep mode and start playing which ever sound you have chosen, you can even make your own sounds by mixing rain, thunder and wind etc. These earbuds are extremely high quality and fit very well due to having three sizes of ear wings which help hold them in your ears so they never come out and also different sizes of ear tips to choose from, four to be exact. X-S, S, M & L. They look really cool as well and are really comfortable. I am a side sleeper and I do not feel these what so ever, I do not know what I would do without them now. I am a brain injury survivor and have tried lots of so called sleep earbuds and sleep aids and I can tell you from spending a lot of money on companies that blind you with science with very little evidence that these are the only ones that work as stated. They are great for hypersensitivity to sound as the sound you chose for sleep mode blocks out irritating noises. And as mentioned they are even 100 times better at blocking sound than loop for example without even having ambient sounds running. I think this is because the cover more of the surface of your inner ear with the wing tips. They are also so easy to use. The design is great, I highly recommend that you try a pair. I could not be happier and have not slept so well in a very long time.
