How heavy is it? I have a small victorian table tree this year(4ft)it may be perfect for the top pf my tree.

Hi...you are going to love it. I have a 6ft tree and it get's a little lost...A 4ft tree is perfect. Don't get me wrong, I love the way it goes around the top of the tree. It's a wonderful conversation piece. Don't be surprised if some of your friends and family order it for their trees. That is what happened with me. A friend had it on her 6 ft. and I had to have it. It is sooooo cute!!!!

Sure, it works for a"3D" real tree, a fake tree, or just a pole with the star on it. not plastic, it can shatter. it is molded, like a toy--guess that is what you mean by "3D".
