Unlike my regular wool scapular - which lasted all of three weeks before starting to shred - this is heavy-duty and very beautiful. It contains the requisite wool but is sealed against moisture and other hazards.Accept no cheap metal substitutes!

I work outdoors in the Deep South, so I sweat profusely. My previous scapular was beginning to deteriorate and the wool patch sticking to my skin made the heat feel worse. This wool has an enamel covering making it more comfortable to wear and easier to keep in place. It also has pretty colors.

This brown scapular is made very well. If you have a severe allergy to wool, this one will work very well for you. It has required wool encapsulated.I do not recommend getting this wet. Unfortunately, I forgot to take it off a couple of times when I went swimming. The back fell off but I was able to fix it with superglue.

This scapular is small which makes it discrete when wearing. I do like the craftsmanship of this scapular and the price is reasonable considering I know will have it for a very long time. Thank you Rugged Rosaries!!
