Duracell Dual Power Lantern 1500 Lumens with 5 Power Sources Available for Charging - 1 Lamp, Black

We have been experiencing power outages and I was worried about using kerosene lights when Los Angeles was hit by a freaky hurricane a few weeks ago. I never feel comfortable reading or knitting when we have power failures because the light just never is bright enough for my eyes. This lamp is incredible -- it lightens up the whole room even better than one of my LED lights by itself. I was amazed that I didn't even need batteries in it to have it charge via USB port...testing now how long middle light source can last without batteries or recharge. Have not attempted solar yet because of cloudy days. It is also so light without the batteries. I am very happy with this purchase, I like the 3 light choices and that it has a emergency red flashing light...I feel very secure now because I know if I am without electricity with nothing to do, it makes me more anxious!! So the D batteries ordered will remain in the fridge till they are needed..11/19/23 Update - This lamp is fantastic. Keep it at a south facing window that has a decorated white roller shade --- no batteries or electric connectivity -- runs for a long time on solar!! So far, testing every day for a month and the light works like you've plugged it in or charged it via the USB cord....love this lamp!!

Excellent product would buy again

I was out of power for 7 days during hurricane Beryl. I used this every night and it lasted one 1 set of D batteries. The charge ports helped me charge my phone and it’s bright even on the lowest setting.

Every household should have a few of these lanterns!

This light will light up your entire room when u lose lights. I tried to buy more but they were sold out .... Wonder why lol

Se le dio uso diario por 4 meses y no presenta problemas, ilumina bien para un cuarto. Duración de la batería 4 horas aproximadamente a máxima iluminación. Tiempo de carga de 0 a 100% en unas 5 horas aproximadamente en enchufle. La carga por panel solar som como 12 horas, no recomendable.

This is a great lantern! It can light a 15 x15 easily on the second power level and into the adjoining room. The adjustable levels, solar panel and usb charging port are a great feature. You can also charge the lantern. I love it so much I bought 3 so there's one on every level of the house. No regrets. one lantern outside at night lights the entire backyard which is close to 50' x 30'.
