Can you see the hooks from outside of the door?

Actually it is even worse : I never found any door where I can still close it after putting the hooks. Be very careful to check that before buying!

Can these go over wardrobe doors?

I found it didn't go over my door the way I wanted it so gave it away. My mum hands it off of her wardrobe instead. I also found a pair of shoes doesn't fit and I'm a size 4. It's now used for hairbrushes and odd bits.
