W7 Cosmetics Lip Jacket Zip and Seal Lipstick Sealer 5 ml

For many many years I have been using the Lipcote which is the same thing as this brand. I have always been happy with Lipcote and yes lipstick stays on longer than with out it BUT one time I couldn't get it I thought I would give this brand a try. I am so glad I did because I now use this one instead! Reason being the lipstick stays on much longer which saves constantly reapplying when out and works out cheaper then using so much lipstick!Initially I didn't think I would like it as it made my lips feel really dry and actually stung for a while but having persevered with it (didn't want to waste my money having bought it) I have used it since and onto my 3rd purchase... I will also continue to use it in future.If you remember that it will possibly sting on first few applications an your lips may feel dry (so can Lipcote but not as strong) than you should be happy with it. It will improve with getting used to it.Obviously do not use on cracked lips.

Originally intended to buy Lipcote but the price difference between this one and that made this more appealing. And the reviews, although mixed, weren't too negative. This works well. Has a strong smell but that doesn't transfer onto the lips. Didn't sting on application and wasn't sticky. It lasts well. Will definitely purchase it again.

Haven’t used this for over thirty years and didn’t know it was still made. It is a different brand and this product is much better. It stings a little when you first put it on but only for a few seconds but there’s no aftertaste and it certainly keeps your Lippe in place. Only used on matte so I don’t know how it would work on glitter or very glossy.

Tried this as it was much cheaper than Lipcote but it's nowhere near as good. Good point was it was better tasting but brush is very soft and doesn't coat well, so had to keep the brush from an old Lipcote, also doesn't last as long throughout the day. Won't be buying again. As the saying goes, buy cheap...buy twice!

Really works and good price

Unfortunately I was unable to purchase my usual brand which I have used for many years on ALL types of lipsticks without any issue. So , I decided to try this product (more expensive too).I am so very disappointed. Several issues for me, first being on opening there is a very strong odour, the application brush is so firm that it wiped off most of my lipstick defeating the purpose instantly. Then half an hour later, I decided to have a cuppa, as seen by the picture…..lipstick is not held on.So to sum it up, the overall rating on this ladies….don’t waste your money.

Tried this as Lipcote my usual lipstick sealer has gone up in price. Thought I’d try the cheaper alternative. It doesn’t disappoint. It keeps my lipstick on all day. When I wear foundation, I draw over my beauty moles to make them more visible, it keeps them in place too. It dries quickly, it isn’t sticky and it does not have a super shine to it either. It also doesn’t make your lips sting when you first apply like lipcote does. I would absolutely buy this again, it’s a great alternative to Lipcote at a lower price.

It works but the smell is very strong, kinda smells like nail polish.The smell does go away Lucky after a minute or so.
