This sunscreen from Conscious Chemist is great for oily skin. The gel texture feels super light and absorbs quickly without leaving a white cast. It doesn’t feel greasy at all, and I haven’t had any breakouts since using it. The niacinamide helps with skin texture, and the blackberry extract gives a fresh, soothing feel. Works well under makeup too.Definitely a solid pick for daily use

The lightweight, non-greasy texture is an absolute win. It blends effortlessly into the skin without leaving a white cast, which is a huge plus for Indian skin tones. It offers reliable broad-spectrum protection, and I noticed a visible improvement in how my skin handles sun exposure. There's less tanning, and my face looks more even-toned. One major downside is that it's not water- or sweat-resistant. In humid conditions or during workouts, it tends to slide off, which is disappointing considering the price point.

Smooth like butter, delicious berry fragrant, love the sunscreen. It makes me feel like applying again and again.

Highly Recommended. Loved the product. It is water resistant. Maintains and boost skin health. Very useful in sunny days. Prevents skin from tanning. Value for money. Must buy it.

(UPDATE- 14/12/23)I have completely stopped using this SPF as it has caused a lot of skin irritation for me. I was correct in figuring the cause of comedones was this SPF. Since I stopped using it my skin has been able to breathe and has been doing better. I would recommend this only to people who do not have sensitive skin and are able to handle some irritation (which mine doesn’t)(UPDATE-24/9/23)I noticed that this one badly clogged my pores and gave me so many closed comedones. I also noticed that even though I double cleanse it, I have a tough time in completely removing and still feel a layer on my skin. Will use it further and update.Here to give my honest review on this SPF!My skin type- Oily combination along with SensitivityI really enjoyed this SPF so much, this one got me into the habit for reapplying SPF!I really like the fragrance in this too!Here are some pros and cons one can consider before a purchase-Pros1. Suitable for all skinsI bought this SPF during the peak monsoon season when my skin becomes really oily, I was skeptical at first because of how heavy it looks but this sinked into my skin pretty fast and gave a beautiful semi matte finish!2. TextureThis sunscreen has a creamy texture which looks intimidating at first but after using one whole tube I can confirm that it’s pretty nice and isn’t as creamy as it looks and it sinks in pretty fast without leaving skin oily.3. Water ResistantI’m so happy the brand took feedback and re formulated its sunscreens into water resistant ones! This one surely doesn’t come of with sweat only but I haven’t tried it while swimming.4. FragranceThe fragrance in this product is a pro for me! I really enjoy fragrances in my skincare products because it makes me look forward to reapplying them again and this actually happened with this!Cons1. The brands website does not mention how long is the sunscreen water resistant for 30-40 mins or longer.2. The tube packaging is a hassle. When the product is new it works fairly well but as soon as the amount of the product reduces, it becomes a nightmare to get product out and it splatters everywhere, as it is visible in the pic.3. It pills a lot on me. I’ve used this sunscreen without any serum or moisturiser underneath but it still pills on me.4. It is ok.The fragrance- It is very mild and pleasant, it's berries you smell. (I am highly sensitive to odours and this didn't give me a sensory overload) this is a point in it's favour.white cast: It does leave a noticeable white cast when applying. It is visible if your skin tone is anywhere between dark to medium tone. But, it vanishes once the sunscreen is absorbed into the skin. This is good too.Matte finish: It gives a matte finish even when using after a moisturizer. I am used to having a glass skin finish/ glow that looks good on camera or anywhere, even without a strobe cream, highlighter or shimmer. So this doesn't cut the deal, in this aspect.Skin irritation: No skin irritation. All brands I have used to so far have given me skin irritation, that I have thought It synonymous with sunscreens. Turns out, it need not be that way. It's very comfortable to wear and doesn't burn my eyes. This is a good thing. This is a deal breaker for me now. I love this.Non - Greasy: Now this may or may not be a good thing depending on your skin's needs. It doesn't leave my skin feeling moistured (even after layering it over a squalene based moisturizer). It doesn't leave it feeling bone dry. It is not sticky. But it's not hydrating either. My skin is a mixed; Dry in certain areas, oily in others. So this really doesn't help my case that way. This is a deal breaker as well.Effectiveness: It is as effective as other sunscreens with SPF50. You do need to reapply it every 2 hrs once for max effectiveness.I am divided on this.. But will definitely consider repurchasing this.
