Q: Hi all, can you please tell me if this is the hose I would need to supply water from my kitchen tap to the pressure washer unit? Many thanks! :)

We use ours to go from tap to hose reel which is then attached to pressure washer. This is quite a short hose.

Q: Is it compatible with the karcher k5 full control ?

We recommend 5-8m inlet hose with pressure Washers so no, will be OK for a fly hose to/from a hose reel.

You say your old hose keeps blasting off. This suggest to me that the ring washers on the hose and/or the connector on the Stanley unit need changing. When I had a Similar problem I just replaced the hose altogether and fitted a new connector on my pressure washer. The Karcher hose is a standard click system so should work as should any hose with the same connectors. Another problem can be if you have a one way connector fitted and you have put the wrong end on the washer?

Nothing is ever fool proof in my opinion. I use a water tap with anti back syphon valve and brass connector. The hose is with the standard click clip system. renew washers if leaks appear over time and avoid using full pressure until you are sure there are no leaks
