Cheap and just works
Cheap was expecting rubbish; but this is actually very good indeed. Used to hook up my Cambridge Audio subwoofer to a TV that doesn’t support it. Very good for the price

You will need a 5volt usb supply
This item was used to provide an optical out tv signal.The RCA leads (sockets) was connected to 2 x RCA leads (plugs) which was then terminated with a 3.5mm jack socket.This was connected to my pc speakers with sub-woofer. Will purchase a soundbar at a later date.
