The media could not be loaded. I love the fact I could choose a 12 inch length. It was exactly the length I needed. The LEDs are bright and vibrant. The flexible strip is thick and robust. If there is one thing to complain about it's the very thin gauge wire. The two wires enclosed together in one black protector sleeve is thick enough but each wire is hard to strip back insulation without tearing some strands. Other than that the lights are better quality and better color and brightness than many others in this price range. I installed them under the hood of my Challenger for accent lights when I go to evening car meets with the hood up. I'm happy with them.

I initially reviewed these lights as too dim. I was hooking them up to an existing toggle for the navigation lights on my boat. Apparently the wires coming off the toggle ARE NOT 12v, they are lower voltage signal wires that lead to a module that produces a 12v signal that runs throughout the boat.I figured this out by testing them on a separate isolated 12v battery. What I will say is the wire gauge is very thin (but sufficient) - so make sure you have a really solid connection. Also - there is a yellow sleeve over the wire where it meets the light. I assume this is to increase protection against water. I had to manually snug it to the light housing and found that you can even push it into the housing a slight bit, which should help longevity.They ARE dimmer than the greed strip lights I was replacing, but that was generally the point. The goal is to have better visibility at night even with these deck lights illuminated.So here I am, eating crow in the reviews because it was user error on the installation that caused me to give an inaccurate 1 star review - which I have changed to 5 stars.

Nice bright lights. Well worth the money.

I see most people using these for underglow or similar for their bikes or cars which is neat and it’s intended purpose, however, I found it useful in a different way. One of my plate lights burnt out and the other was so dim, I was begging to be pulled over at night. The same model bulb but in LED wasn’t working so I clipped the leads on this, soldered it to the burnt out bulb and applied it. Now, these are insanely bright. I was able to tone that down with some VHT Nite Shades spray tint. It’s perfect now. Hidden in the day time now that it’s tinted black and is just bright enough to do its trick at night. So why not 5 stars? 2 of the LED’s in the strip are noticeably dimmer than the others. I don’t mind it much but it makes me question the QC, durability and longevity. Time will tell, but for now I feel confident I won’t be chased by any weewoo wagons at night.

These light work great on my SXS. They act as a black light. I go riding on trails that have lots of snakes and scorpions. These light make them glow. So I wont step on one and get bit or stung. The picture shows what the snake looks like.

Very bright quality easy to install

Looks good but very dim

Bought these for replacement lights for our fish tank lights. The original lights were starting to burn out and I wanted to add more lights, so I wired these and they look fantastic. Easily installed and so far durability is great, no issues as of yet.
