Perfect for what it is; gap problem solved
I am at the tail-end of a long remodel and have zero patience at this point for anything that looks cheap, doesn't perform, and/or fights me during installation. I was somewhat skeptical because these are made from foam and are actually soft and squishy to the touch. But -- they actually do look real (or as real as you can get for not actually being real). I had 2 applications: around a kitchen island, and on a 3ish x 8 foot accent wall.I did the jigsaw method (cut out the small end squares) and fit the pieces together. SImply placing each tile next to each other will not produce a realistic result. I bought the black tiles, and since the inside of the tiles is white, it is easy to see where things don't line up (both the tiles themselves and in relation to the surface behind, which was painted a tan color). After installation, I took a bottle of black gloss acrylic craft paint and a small art brush and dabbed/painted the gaps of the "grout" (where the white of the inside was showing) and the gaps where the wall was visible. Perfect result, and it avoids having to paint the entire surface behind the tiles, or obsess over cutting perfectly.Neither of the application areas receive direct sunlight, so any imperfections were unlikely to show at all. Even so, I took an extremely bright flashlight and shone it over where i had painted, and even then I had to search for the painted areas. The adhesive is very strong, and yes a couple of the end tabs came up after a day or so (usually because I had pulled up and repositioned those) but some simple glue from the hardware store fixed it. It came with a knife but I used my own and kept changing the blade to keep it sharp. The squishiness I actually came to like because it is so forgiving - it made it that much easier to stretch/compress the placement to get a good alignment. SInce the brick look is 'rustic' (meant to look like old worn brick), it further lends itself to both a forgiving installation and quite realistic final result.Overall I am very pleased with this purchase. It's a good value, easy to work with, and provides a great result with proper installation.

Great product for an exceptional price.
The media could not be loaded. Fixing up my garage space and needed a way to camouflage the Heating/cooling tank and duct work. This product really delivered. First I wasn't willing to spend a lot on an area I had no intention of bringing attention to. Second, my walls are heavily textured so I needed something that would adhere well. I don't care for the straight line to show so I cut alternating end pieces to puzzle the brick sheets together. This was time consuming but worked perfect. I was pleasantly surprised how sticky the backing was and love the 3d effect these foam sheets provide. A little black sharpie for the cut edges and black paint for the trim and this product neatened up an otherwise eyesore of any area. I highly recommend this as long as you don't care about removing it any time soon. Its not peel and stick over and over friendly. The pieces were all uniform, same size, shape and coloring. A few edges were mal-aligned but could easily be manipulated back into shape. These pieces seem durable but will not withstand encounters with sharp objects. Ultimately a great value add. Very happy!

Disappointing Adhesive: A Nightmare for Walls
The media could not be loaded. It looks very plastic-like, and nearly impossible to remove, as other reviewers have mentioned. We tried everything—using a hair dryer to warm them up and peeling them off slowly—but nothing worked. Unfortunately, this has caused significant damage to our beautiful wall, and now we need to hire a carpenter to restore it.

low-cost remodeling
These definitely exceeded my expectations, however, to make it look more realistic it's better to give it a touch with matte paint. It's easy to install, but I would definitely recommend to the seller make these with the cuts that real bricks would have.

Looks great- removal is next to impossible
I loved the product while it was installed. It was extremely easy to install as a temporary fix. The problem is it is impossible to remove without destroying the wall beneath. The adhesive ripped the dry wall layer off. The adhesive is not coming off any other part of the wall. It's going to be a nightmare to get off completely so we can tile. We will have to sand and possibly re-drywall.The directions state that it comes off easily if removed slowly. This is not an accurate statement by any means.

Worked better than expected
After reading all of the conflicting reviews, I almost didn't buy these. So glad I did, they went up very well and are super sticky. Not sure why people were having trouble with them coming off, unless the wall wasn't totally clean. I did opt to put up contact paper first since I was covering up paneling and because of the reviews showing the horrible mess these leave when removing. And yes, they do leave a horrible mess when removed as you can see in the photo. They are nice and thick, kinda spongy, but feel like they will last and should wash up nicely. I had thought I would paint them, but not at this time, as they are a nice semi gloss white. I am pretty crafty, so I didn't have much problem cutting out the small brick pieces to make for a seamless look. I did cover my seams and other discretions with white bathroom caulk. Turned out great!!Would be nice if they came already notched out though.
