Nice Switch!
I purchased this to use as a brake switch for a wind generator installation on my sailboat as recommended by John Daniel on his YouTube channel. Inexpensive and works great for my purpose!

A little small
Switch works but could be a little bigger for size if wire need to be used. But for price it works.

Not well built.
Poor build quality. Read to see why. It seemed reasonable enough when I opened box. I could tell it wasn’t same build quality as other switches that I have on other equipment that are similar designed use. I added this to a 5ph old 30” buzz saw I use for processing firewood. I don’t use this saw much, but when I do I will switch it on and off 4 or so times a day running saw for about a half hour each time. It’s a big saw, so I don’t want to start and stop like ya would a table saw. It worked fine for about a week after installing. Perhaps 30 on off cycles. The issue started when the on button stays depressed and there won’t be any obvious jarring to saw or cause for the switch to just stop functioning. I can hear blade start to slow, so I bend down and press the already depressed on button and contact is made while I am pressing it. I let go and although it is depressed it isn’t making contact. So ya push it several times or push off then back on. Nothing seems to be the solution, but it will make contact eventually and I continue to cut. After some time of this happening I realize I can press the box by the switch on button and it responds similar to pushing the on button fully down. I assume it’s a poor connection in box wiring and take it apart to see. Nothing obvious. Put it back together and it seemed fixed as it worked for a couple on off cycles. But than same old issues. The real question is why can I slightly press the cover beside the on and it make contact? Turns out it’s a poor design. The way they designed the box it has a notch that holds one side of cover on and a screw that holds the other. The screw side is the off side of cover. For cover to stay in place screw has to be tightened. But you tighten screw finger tight than the screw (one of the brass ones that stick out with a slot head so you can tighten it with fingers or use a slot screw driver) the screw seats and presses the cover as designed, it pulls cover (the on side) slightly away from box front. If I use screw driver slot, then it pulls (on side) of the cover further away. The result is same ether way. Instead of holding switch components tightly together it pulls the cover away and that’s why contact is broken. Just the subtile vibrations of saw brake contact in the switch. The pressed slot were the cover is pulled on (the on side) of cover pulls away when screw tightens. This notch can’t be manipulated to hold correctly. There is no small hack to correct this or I would have done it and shared it. It leaves me buying a actual known brand switch.

Works well with a 1 HP Harbor Freight motor.Nice snap action. Tight but easy to wire. I wish the ground connection was inside not outside. Doubt it is waterproof.

Tiny and not US standard
Wanted to use as an emergency stop for my home wood shop. Most such switches do not have the current capacity or are way too expensive. This unit is rated at 30A and was priced well.I was not able to use it immediately as the electrical wire was hard to find due to supply interruptions from COVID pandemic. Finally was able to buy the required wire and got to installing and found the box to be way too small for the 12/2 solid MC wire I wanted to use. Also realized that the holes for the conduit was actually not a US standard size which did not allow for the MC connectors to snap in properly, and there was no way to mount it in a standard one or two gang box either.Not really sure if using this would violate code, and ended up using a Leviton 20A flip switch in a 4in metal box.
