I watched YouTube videos flipping through the other NGE art books, I think this is the best one on Amazon and it goes for a good price.Only thing that surprised me is that half of the book is NGE artworks, the other half is a "other works" section. The art is amazing either way, so I'm not upset :)

Definitely recommend adding this piece to your collection.

Original-series artwork with conceptual art and other works thrown in! This book was somewhere in-between an illustration-only volume like the Art of Satoshi Kon (Dark Horse Entert.) and a Ghibli Art Book, which is a nice mix. Very high quality print, as expected. Some background is given to each image, and the bonus concept art is nicely packaged last in the book so the reader/viewer can appreciate the art style development and artistic context. Also, this art book is HUGE! I had to move my shelf down a good few centimeters to fit it in with my 30~some other art books - some of which I thought were large to begin with. Be sure to check the size specs before you buy - although I certainly think it's worth owning regardless of storage inconvenience.Very, VERY highly recommended! Gorgeous art book ^^

This was bought as a gift for my boyfriend. We watched the show right at the start of our relationship, so I thought it would be the perfect birthday gift! The book is great, very sturdy hardcover with thick glossy pages. The art itself is beautiful as well. Would highly recommend to any EVA fan.

awesome gift for any evangelion fan. period. more focused on characters, but has the Eva's too. for those that have only watched the series and have not read the manga series, this is all pictures illustrated by yoshiyuki sadamoto, the illustrator for the manga series. even so, for people whom have only watched the series, it's still an awesome book. me myself have only gotten to volume 6 in manga, but regardless, a great gift for a die hard evangelion fan. came In perfect condition. big art book. the book is HUGE. I love love love LOOVVVEEEEEEEE IT !

Beautiful artwork printed on high quality paper. The art inside the book is gorgeous and they did not cheap out on the paper it was printed on. Absolute buy for any Evangelion fans.
