Excellent HPS Light!
I love High Pressure Sodium lights. The light they give off is pleasing to the eyes. No LED compares to these, which is why I keep my HPS lights going. These bulbs worked great in my street light fixture for my yard.

Fixed my constantly cycling light issue
My old 70W light was regularly dying and restarting. Replacing it with this GE fixed that problem. Lets hope it lasts longer than the 3 years I got out of the other bulb, which was not GE. Too bad because the previous brand has lasted 6 years the other time I purchased it. Thought I would try my luck with GE this time.

Had On/Off Cycle Problem; new bulb fixed and works well so far
My HPS light over the driveway was about 5 years old and the light started cycling on and off. I incorrectly assumed it was the ballast but after doing some research online, I decided to buy a new bulb first. This bulb came well packaged and immediately fixed the issue. Evidently HPS lightbulbs start causing voltage issues after a few years and to prevent burnout, the circuitry in the ballast automatically cycles. One note, make sure you choose the right base and wattage. You cannot mix-n-match wattages as you can on regular incandescent bulbs.
