If you do not have the money for an expensive power dry wall sander, this is definitely the product to buy. I absolutely hate sanding dry wall and being covered with dust. Got this item hooked up to my shop vac very easily and quickly and within 5 minutes of use I knew I had made the right decision when I bought this sander. Sanded for about an hour and did not have one bit of dust on me. I did install a dry wall dust bag in my shop vac to contain as much dust as possible. The sander and the bag really makes it a dustless effort. Now this is a MANUAL sander so don't expect it to be a easy as a power sander. I definitely work up a sweat when I use this product, but it is worth keeping the dust off. So far I have been able to get into about 90% of the areas I need to sand with this product. I will need to use a sponge sander in a few places. I would not hesitate for a second to purchase this product again in the future should I need to. I don't expect to need another one any time soon because it is sturdily build and should last a long time.

It's great, does exactly as described, have been using it sanding down patches of filler and painted walls, plugged onto my Bosch vac it does make life a lot easier with all the dust being sucked up and not floating around the room. The supplied mesh pad will last a little while but rolls of sanding mesh can be bought easily enough. Have tried using sanding paper but figuring out where to picture holes in it can be cumbersome. All round though a great purchase.

I had to patch a hole in the kitchen ceiling from an upstairs bathroom remodel. I was dreading all the drywall dust that I was going to create in the kitchen with my sanding pole. I decided to give this a try and it was wonderful. I had very little dust to clean and I did not have to mask off everything. It was 100% worth the money for my situation.

Dust collection is great. The tradeoff is the extra work to use this. Your arms will get tired a lot sooner
