Original Chevrolet Camaro 1967-1969: The Restoration Guide

Actually I was expecting a step by step restoration guide but I received a book full of pictures. Absolutely useless. Oh well win some loose some this time I lost .

The listing for this book is misleading. First, it is a reprint (albeit with new cover art) of a specification guide published in 2001, which I already owned and thus would not have purchased the reprint if properly described. Second, this is a specification guide, definitely not a restoration guide in the general sense of "restoration guide." A restoration guide is a how-to book, not just a listing of specifications. There is nothing in this book of a how-to-restore-it nature. The specification information is excellent -- great compilation of data. But even this suffers from a shortcoming of the original 2001 publication -- no information about location and purpose of the "Protect-O-Plate" attached to these cars. An appendix contains code interpretation details, but there is nothing in the text itself. However, the VIN and trim plates are well covered in the text -- locations and interpretation details in an appendix.
