Cheap and works, whats not to love?
Decided to swap from an external fuel pump (working, also Evil Energy) to this. The external was fully functional, but loud as external pumps tend to be. This puppy is quiet, was easy to install, comes with a whole bunch of stuff that I did not need for my install (isolators sleeves, rubber boot, etc) but I did appreciate how complete the package was. It came with a very nice little intake filter. Overall, a bargain - something rarely seen these days.

Junk pump, will leave you stranded
Fuel pump only lived 300 miles and of course had to fail 60 miles from home. Luckily this junk pump stranded me in a small town with a parts store and I was able to replace the pump in a parking lot. Made it 10 miles down the road and my engine started cutting out over 10% throttle. I was able to limp home and found the new fuel filter nearly completely clogged. This pump not only died quickly it completely trashed the filter and filled my new fuel tank with copper/brass/metal fillings. Now I have to drain and clean my tank, dispose of 15ish gallons of metal contaminated fuel, replace fuel filter and hope the original filter caught enough junk to save my aces EFI unit.AVOID THIS PUMP! I chanced a cheap pump and paid the price, a parts house pump for a 97 chevy vortec pickup is almost identical in dimensions and mounts the same.

Great pump
Great cheap pump, builds pressure fast and seems to be very high quality for the money

Whistling noise
Product screen is cheap to say the least. Also a high pitch whistle while running. But on the performance side it was perfect. Will update after 6 months

Works as expected very complete install kit wiring.
It worked great on my chevy suburban. However the check valve has failed, but the pump works as it should. I don’t think the failure of the check valve is normal. However my gas tank has a lot of debris, and I’m sure that’s the problem. It takes a few key twists to get the truck 5.3 v8 primed and running but it works. I will install an inline spring loaded check valve to relieve this problem. So as for the product itself 9/10 . Good quality and i doubt i will ever have to replace it for the next 190,000 miles…. Updating here jan 27 2023… still working put picture and it’s holding 57psi. The check valve blew out some time ago, and i put on right at the rail and used 6AN fittings hard. No problem so far. I can only assume that the pump loses about 2 psi when it has to push the spring loaded check valve. When it warms up i will place the check valve closer to the pump for better pressure. At any rate this pump is way under priced and great valve if you need a cheap fix for your truck. I’m impressed as i had replaced this for a upper echelon unit that failed two weeks after install. Go figure. Not all things from china are made equally. I support this product even if the check valve blew out. Fyi i updated my regulator to a filter style one and eliminated the return with a simple block off. Suburban 2004 flex fuel model.

Poor quality accessories
A week ago, I installed the fuel pump. However a few days later I had the same issues of hard starting. Upon removing fuel pump, I noticed the special fastener that the held the "fuel-screen" in place was missing (fell out and in the tank somewhere). Could it be my mistake? possibly. However to be fair, I've replaced fuel pumps many times, so I am not foreign to the installation of this part.Moving forward, upon removing the rubber fuel line that is provided with the kit: it looked like it was chewed up by the gas. In other words, the rubber hose was not meant to be in contact with petroleum distillates i.e., "gas".Now, if one product fails, then okay, it could be installer issue. However, two products failed, which brings up the question about the quality of this "fuel pump". I rate this product a ZERO out of 10 (not 5).Extremely disappointed! I'm keeping the pump in to see how long this pump will actually last and not for any other reason. It's one thing to purchase a no-name product and get this type of performance: it's another...well you all know the rest.

First pump had a bad check valve, vendor took care of the issue and sent out a replacement
First pump had a bad internal check valve, lines would lose pressure when sitting idle. Vendor responded quickly and sent out a replacement pump which is working fine.
