Brushing this on works better than spraying Mr Surfacer!
This stuff is AMAZING! I used an army painter brush and it only took two thin coats for a beautiful matte very finely toothy finish. Mr Surfacer leaves a shiny finish that’s beautiful but paint slips on. Some may like the slip, I prefer a more toothy surface. I have tried so many primers and this blows the rest away. Just bought it in white too.

Excellent Primer!
I bought this as an alternative to Tamiya Fine Grey primer based on a few reviews. I was tempted to try Vallejo primers (I already use their acrylics) but multiple reports of peeling and the inability to sand it dissuaded me. Some reviews of Stynylrez were highly favorable but some noted that it was difficult to spray and clean out of an airbrush, or that it was far too thick to use. With respect to the latter, it turns out that if the product freezes or has been frozen, it’s no longer usable and must be discarded. Re: the former, I sprayed it through a Paasche H airbrush with an HT-5 tip with no problems at all. I couldn’t believe how smoothly it laid down, and it dried without the slightly rough texture of Tamiya’s primer. (Next time I may try using an HT-3 tip.) Moreover, cleanup was a snap with water. I also tried sanding it and was again delightfully surprised - i got a fine feathered edge with no tearing or lifting up. I’ve since ordered another bottle of white to my collection. The price may seem high but I primed a 1/48 scale V-2 rocket and found that a little went a long way. I think the bottle will last me for many, many model builds. Highly recommended!

Awesome primer, covers great and no dilution needed
Does exactly what it claims to do, straight from the bottle to the airbrush.Leaves a nice matte finish that paints easily grab onto

Decent Acrylic Primer
Relative decent primer. I've tried both this and the Vallejo primer and to be honest I like Vallejo a little bit better. Out of the bottle, the paint is surprisingly thick so I usually add a drop or two of flow improver to avoid clogging. I have no problem airbrushing at 13psi with two thin coats, anymore pressure and it begins to drip. Also, this is a personally reference but the paint is kind of dark for my taste so I mixed 1:1 of this and a white primer. The attached photo is the result.Overall, If you're already working with Vallejo then stick with it, this primer is not gonna make your life any better. I like the paint but I don't see a reason why you should buy this over Vallejo. Unless you want to buy your stuffs locally and if they don't have Vallejo then this is a good alternative. Also, some people say that this primer is more resistant to chipping than Vallejo but I cannot spot the difference.

Excellent product, works great on plastic models
One of the best airbrush paints I’ve ever bought. Didn’t require any thinning, coated and covered perfectly. Will definitely buying this again for work on plastic models!

The best primer for me.
I don't think anything is more polarizing than primer. You'll have people that swear by one, swear at another, and there's never a consensus. For me, for how I paint, this stuff is by far the best. It goes on very smooth and level while still providing a solid surface. I was originally using Vallejo for most of my models but started having some issues with peeling. I have not had any such issues with Stynylrez. Everything should shoot this easily. I'm primarily painting 40k and similar miniatures so shoot at low pressure. Even down to 10 psi this stuff just loves to jump out of the airbrush.Good stuff, plus I know from other dealings with them that Badger's a good company as well.

Definitely the one to get.
Definitely the one to get. I am an artist, and I do meals with gravy. I recently started doing sculptures, and I'm working with all sizes. For a really tiny sculptures, I feel that the spray paint tends to be a bit sick for my detail. This stuff, is absolutely phenomenal when sprayed through my Iwata airbrush. I am spraying at about 40 or 50 psi, and it is sticking so sweet. I bought a small bottle to try, and I ended up buying a bigger bottle later. I'm sure that one bottle would be fine for your project, but I am mass producing resin copies. I am spring this on top of smooth on products. So far I have use this on smooth cash 300 with absolutely astonishing results. I hope this helps

Great Product!
This is an amazing primer. I finally got a chance to use it (had it sitting at my desk for a month) and it went on so smooth and dried super quick. My first project with it was priming some small dropper bottles caps to which I moved my Games-Workshop paints. I'd applied it with my Master Airbrush G266 with the .5mm needle. The only issue I really had was after 30 or so bottles the tip got dry. Cleaned out the brush and got back to work. I will DEFINITELY be getting more of this for the cold months when I can't use an aerosol primer. Heck, this may be my go to solution for any priming needs.
