Bully

That book made me want to feel for the female mc everytime the male mc bullied her and her backstory was just heartache in my opinion but did hv some good smut and they got their HEA in the end

I just love this book. I love reading such books and if they are worth it... then i always reveiw them. No regrets. The story is so good. Bullying and romance? Yes. Perfect gift for anyone.

"This is how bullies are made"What a powerful book. Jared and Tate were best friends since they were children. One summer, a teenager Jared went to spend the summer with his father, and the Jared that returned was an angry bully towards Tate. Pranks, humiliations... nothing was enough for him to show his contempt. Tate then went to spend a year studying in France, and when she came back some things have changed, but she didn't (couldn't) believe it.This book was hard to read at parts. As an adult, I cannot condone bullying, and I never will, but this story is not about the bullying as much as the why. Why a fourteen-year-old boy suddenly turns into a bully? what are the psychological mechanisms teenagers have to cope with the things that happen to them?. Jared can't hurt the ones that hurt him, so he turns to hurt others instead. Tate tries to understand him, but his mixed signals are confusing. At one point, when she starts to fight back, she realises that "that's how bullies are made" and she doesn't want to be that person.The writing is really good, and all the characters are unique in their own way. KC is probably the worst best friend ever, Madoc is hilarious (even as a bully), the father, the grandma, Jared's mom, Liam, Nate, Piper, Ben... some are lovable, some not so much.Anyway, this one goes directly to favourites.
