I also struggled with this when I purchased the xxxx50. The difference I think is the more expensive one lets you put in a three prong US plug where this is 2 prong only. Because I couldn’t think of any gadget that would be grounded (3 prong) I went with the less expensive one. I have two of these, great product, never found an instance where could not use this one. Or it could be the pricier one is a later model (2016 vs 2014). Agree kind of a mystery.

It does have a fuse...about to order this product specifically because it does. Does this require a power inverter to use? Some devices are not abóleme to interchange with 110v to 220v, I just don’t want to burn out my devices
