Because I’m old AF, Activewear really isn’t my jam. I prefer a more classic look for every day. However two life events took place that made me change my mind. The first was a 17-pound Pandemic weight gain. If I had a dollar for every bag of tortilla chips I consumed during the last six months, I would be able to afford to move back to NYC! And not have to work! The second event was cataract surgery ( and yes-when you get old it’ll happen to you!). Forgetting about the impact this pandemic has in connection on healthcare, I recently had the first of two cataract surgeries. Dopey me. I wore a little black dress thinking I would have to change in a hospital gown. Instead, I had to wear my lbd during surgery! Not wanting to expose my gorgeous panties or worse, a blanket was placed over me.Needless to say my thoughts were “NFW am I wearing a dress to my next surgery”. And so, I let my fingers do the walking over to Amazon! And I found these leggings/ pants/ activewear thingies. Oh am I thrilled with them!Regardless of my expanding hips, thighs and gut, I went with the Medium. At 5’6” and 157 lbs, the fit is fabulous! My gut is sucked in and the high waist is super Post-menopause friendly! I’ll admit, these could be a tad longer in the leg but it isn’t a deal-breaker!The fabric is thick and opaque so you can keep transparency for your personality rather than what you’re wearing!And these have pockets!! Holy Cannoli! Pockets! When I go back for my second cataract surgery, I can slide my insurance cards and IDin one pocket and my cell phone in the other! This is epic as purses aren’t allowed at the surgical center! Who knew that this activewear would come in handy as surgical attire? And I can work out too! Well, I’m lazy so let’s just say I can walk my dog in these pants!The price is right, the fit is flattering and fabulous Nd I need another pair! These are great! Very high-quality fabric! i’m so pleased with these crap stretch, yoga pants. They are true to size very comfortable high waist. They wash and warm water and I have let them air dry and I have dry them on gentle cycle. They turn out great either way I think these are the same quality and value as other namebrand that are twice the price. I would love to see them in solid colors and other prints I would certainly buy a lot more of these

I got these in a medium and they fit perfect - 5'5", 145#, 28 waist, 43 hip. The fabric is a kind of rough sticky finish. It is thick and not see through at all. I don't think it will stay nice for long though. I'll try to update, but it reminds me of the leggings that stick to themselves like velcro after a couple washes. Good thing I don't have pets, because hair would stick to this fabric. They also have an elastic around the waist which hits right at my navel. I've never had that in a legging, it cuts in a bit. Not terrible, but not my favorite look. Length is about 3"below the knee.

I’m so picky about my running clothes and the way they fit. The waist on these is perfect. It’s high waisted but also has a tighter band at the top so it doesn’t roll. I’m typically a medium or size 6/8 in pants, but I got these in a small so they would be tighter and stay put. The material is great. I appreciate the thickness. Not see through, but not heavy and too hot. Very comfortable and stays put!

I’m a repeat customer for YEARS with my first pairs of TGP leggings still lasting with no rips or anything.I bought these because I’m in early pregnancy and needed something comfortable for summer.What I’ll tell you if you’re like me and have been wearing this brand a really long time is that the waistband has an added elastic at the top that my older pairs don’t have. Totally fine, just not my favorite part of these pants for pregnancy’s sake as it makes it feel like a tighter fit.

Didn't love these. The color was more like gray than the pretty blue shown. They are heavy, which would be good for winter, but not for heading into summer. I am 5'5", 137 lbs. and I ordered a small. They have good compression, but oddly, the bottoms (which hit about three inches below my knees) slid up a little bit, causing wrinkles and making me feel I wanted to yank them down. It felt like the top of the waist was tighter than the rest of it, so it squeezed me in an an unflattering way. From the looks of them I thought the compression on the wide waist panel would be evenly distributed, but that wasn't so. I would have probably been more comfortable in a medium, but the the length and color were enough to keep me from giving the medium a shot.

Another win from The Gym People. I love this brand and their leggings. These are so smooth, soft, and flattering. The pockets are amazing and super deep and stretchy. The waist has tummy control and stays put. The material is of great quality, it’s both thick and not see through and yet cooling on a summer day or during a workout. I pretty much have at least one pair of all their leggings. Amazing stuff.

The only workout capris I have found that don't roll down while I'm working out! I have bought 5 pairs of these capris to workout in and I love them! After reading other reviews, I did purchase one size smaller than I would normally wear, and they fit perfectly.
