Adorable, sturdy grey crib
I don't know what it is about Jenny Lind beds, but I've always loved them. When we found out we were expecting after thinking we were done having babies, I knew this was the style I would get. When I found DaVinci's cribs, I was drawn to the cute colors - the pink, yellow and blue are adorable! I particularly liked the "fog grey" color, however, and that's what we decided to get. We bought the matching DaVinci six-drawer dresser. DaVinci Signature 6-Drawer Double Dresser, Fog GreyThe crib is very easy to put together - much easier than my previous cribs. It is also very sturdy in spite of its lighter appearance. I left the casters off because I don't like them, but it's easy enough to move around without them. The finish is smooth and appears durable, and the color is just perfect. My ONLY complaint is that the brackets that attach the mattress springs connect on an angle, and this causes the corners of the bedskirt not to hang evenly. It's not super noticeable so it wasn't a deal breaker. You can see what I'm talking about in the photo. All in all, this is a cute, sturdy crib at a reasonable price. We're very pleased.

beautiful/sturdy
This crib is exactly how it is pictured. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I did a lot of research and really appreciated other people's reviews. I love the classic frame of it, looks like an actual crib! not a big or bulky furniture style that seems to have been the trend. It was nice and easy to put together. I love the health aspects of the New Zealand pinewood and no-toxic paint even though I believe it's made in China. I previously bought a barely used organic mattress off criagslist, fits perfectly. We are first time parents, waiting for baby to arrive. If you are looking for this style of crib, you can not go wrong with this purchase and what a great price compared to others I've seen! It's just not necessary to spend that much on a crib, and it seems these days people are overspending on items, especially when it comes to having babies. Let's not forget they grow out of them!! I think this crib will also have great resale value. The only reason I did not buy a used one, was b/c of the drop down side factor. I figured, especially being new at this, better safe than sorry.

Nursery centerpiece!
I could not love this crib more! Our nursery theme is colorful and vintage and this crib could not have been a better fit. It's the centerpiece of our nursery. It was easy to assemble and took my husband and I less than 10 minutes. I wouldn't say it feels solid, but it's plenty sturdy. We get so many compliments on it. The price is more than reasonable for this great combination of function and aesthetics.

Perfect Crib for Us
I really like this crib, and am SO glad that I didn't spend a thousand dollars on one that wouldn't have even been half as cute. It is a classic style that will always look great, and I love that it isn't huge and bulky. I also like that the baby could see out of all sides. I did not use the wheels; I am pretty short, so it was nice to have it closer to the ground, and there was no need for me to wheel it around (and those look cheap and plasticy and bring the whole look down a notch, I think). When the baby started teething, I used Trend Lab CribWrap Fleece Rail Cover White, Narrow, and the covers looked just fine and worked well. The crib skirt I had custom-made, but it would be easy to make: four rectangles of fabric (face fabric and white lining behind, for structure and drape) with ties at the top that let me attach them to all sides by tying them to the wire support grid beneath the mattress and adjust the drop when I raise and lower, so they always perfectly just touch the floor (and hide the big storage bin beneath). An overall wonderful product - I recommend it again and again to anyone who will listen. My only gripe is for the industry as a whole: please, please find a safe way to bring back sides that lower!

A boutique-level crib!!:)
I loved the retro style of this crib online, but I will have to admit that the pictures made it seem a little flimsy. I have onwned a much more expensive crib four years ago that was extremely heavy and took about three hours to put together. I found this one (finally, in stock!) here on Amazon for a steal. It came five days earlier than estimated. As I took the pieces out, I was really excited with how heavy they were, especially the end headboard and footboard. It took me 10 MINUTES to assemble this crib - there are literally four steps to it. I don't it could possibly be easier than if it came fully assembled. It took an Allen key and a Phillips head screwdriver, and that is it. Fully assembled, I LOVE THIS CRIB! I did leave the casters off just because I don't need to roll the crib around too often. The feet are very sturdy, but the crib itself is 200% more stable than my previous expensive heavy crib. It doesn't wobble, move, etc. It's amazing. And it's still light. My husband and I picked it up with one hand each and moved it all around the room for the best location. In all, we could not have picked a better crib! Note: this crib is very stationary, no risk with the new drop-side ban. It's completely comfortable to lean over the crib to get the baby out (I am 5'4").
