Frank Cooper'sOriginal Coarse Cut Oxford Orange Marmalade (454g)

An excellent product, great flavor and texture, and I have ordered it several times. However, the item that came today was badly packed for shipping (poor cushioning) and arrived shattered.

Arrived intact. No leakage, etc.For decades, this has been the marmalade I like best. Complex flavors, nice chewy texture. Great with a strong cup of tea or coffee.

This a second opinion review after locating a lot more rind that had 'sunk' toward the bottom of the jar. Although finding the rind helps a lot, my first taste impression still stands...a 'not-strong' bitter orange. I now use this on nut butter sandwiches. FIRST REVIEW: IMO, this is more like a jelly with a few scraps of 'depleted' near tasteless rind. It's probably OK for a ladies' afternoon tea sandwich but not for a morning's greet-the-sun wakeup. Fortunately, I'd also ordered another well-regarded (but less expensive) marmalade brand for comparison (Wilken$Sons "Tawney") which I like very much... full-bodied with lots of tangy rind, dark color...meets my requirements, and leaves this product well in the dust. (I occasionally smoke Romeo & Julieta and Partagas from Paris.)

My sister loves marmalade; I got it for her.She says it is very, very good!!

Just the right amount of tang and sweetness. Love the thick cut pieces of rind in it. Has real sugar in it not high fructose corn syrup or chemical sweeteners. Well worth the price. Few other brands are this good.

Arrived well packaged. But the marmalade was very runny as though in had water in jar.Marmalade a very dark brown. Not sure if it is supposed to be that color??? The taste left much to be desired!Disappointed in this product.

At a time when so many products demonstrate lowered standards for the sellers to hold to a certain price point, it is refreshing to see that Frank Cooper's Marmalades maintain the qualities they are known for. Because of Amazon, I will remain a return customer!
