Birkenstock Women's Sandals Flip Flops

These sandals were exactly what I have been wanting! Birkenstock sizes are a little off, so if you have the chance to try them on in a store I would do that to find your correct size. I am usually a 7.5-8, and I ordered the size 38. I was waiting to write a review of these sandals until I broke them in. I've had them about a month now and they are finally broken in!! The toe post is definitely a little bothersome at first, and the rivet on the underside of the strap that holds to toe post in place leaves a small black stain on my foot from the black painted coating it had. The trick to getting these to fit most comfortably is making sure your foot is placed properly in them - which means your heel should be at the aback of the shoe, even if you have shorter toes that don't reach as far as you'd like (my big toe is a little short, but my other toes line up nicely). Be prepared to experience some pain while breaking these in. I started off by wearing them just a couple hours a day around the house, then slowly built up as they became more broken in. You will know when they are broken in as the shape of your foot will be completely imprinted, and the shoe conforms to the shape of your foot. At week 2 I wore them for several hours on a walk around downtown, and that was a mistake! Lots of blisters to prove it. There is tons of information online about breaking these in and taking care of them properly. It's definitely best to take your time breaking these in, but with that being said, these sandals are AWESOME now that I have put in the hours to break them in. I love the neutral color of the tobacco and I can say these are 100% authentic Birkenstock sandals. So happy with my purchase!

These Birkenstocks are really stylish. I got the tobacco color and they match almost anything! I am normally a 7-71/2 and per the sizing chart provided by seller I ordered the 38 which was too big. Returned with no hassle and reordered the 37 and they fit great! If you're not used to this shoe style, they can be a bit awkward at first. But if you can relax your toes around the raised toe arch instead of thinking about it all of the time, you will get used to it fast and realize how comfy these shoes are. Other than the fact that they run large, they are great shoes!

I saw a good deal from one of the online shops I buy a lot from and purchased a white pair originally. I fell in love with them as soon as I got them. I had to get a black pair as well. While it does take a couple of days to wear them in properly - they are a great shoe. They are supportive, stable, cute to look at, secure on the foot with the adjustable straps. They fit true to size - I am usually an 8 -81/2 US. The size 39 fits me perfectly (just). Lovely shoe and I am thrilled to now own 3 pairs of Birkenstocks.

So great for narrow feet!!! <—-and I can’t emphasize that enough!! I always thought of Birkenstocks as being a wide sandal, and have never tried them before. I was delighted when I saw they offer several narrow styles, but I was still skeptical...because I am someone who can try on every pair of cute shoes/sandals/boots in the store and have every. single. pair be too wide.These are SUPER comfortable too! When they were brand new, I wore them walking all around Boston on our “baby moon” while 28 weeks pregnant and my feet felt great. I’ve also worn them walking all day at Disney World. They’ve become my go-to sandal every day in the summer!

I wore Birks back in the 80's and loved them and when I saw them on the runway last fall I was so happy! My foot is long (10.5 and 11), narrow with a no arch and these are perfect! I feel like I am getting a reflexology treatment just wearing them. I went with the 41N and they seemed just a hair too short but after a couple days of wearing them the sole compressed opening up a teeny bit more wiggle room so my toes didn't feel like they were touching the end. I moved the buckle to the tightest and on days when my feet swell I can always loosen them, so customizable! I love that my 8 yr old and I can wear the same show, they are adorable in her size, 13.The only issue I had was with my right foot, I developed a big blister from the toe divider (thong part) it was pretty bad but it healed and now I dont feel anything. I do have to be careful about overwearing, even though I dont feel like I'm gripping I will get leg cramps if I stand in these 8 hrs + (even with extra water, magnesium and potassium supplements). Could be just me.

Size is true to guide, fut perfect. Comfortable and quality, I have 2 other pairs of Birkenstock sandals and these are great. Color advertised with picture was not what I received, contacted company through Amazon. They responded quickly, but stated the verbal description was accurate even though picture was not. I still like the pattern and since they wouldn't return I kept them.

I was a bit worried about the 'silver' color but it is good. It is a true neutral silver that blends well with pastels...blue, lavendar, pinks and greens.. It is not a bright sparkel finish but a soft silver and gives me as much flexibility as my off white snake skin of opalescenc. These are great neutrals!! Love them.

I ordered a size 39 which I have had in other brands. I'm a true size 8 with medium width foot and these were to loose on my foot. Great Birkenstock quality as usual. Just watch your size. Returned and bought another pair size 38 locally. Needed on vacation.
