These test strips are an inexpensive, easy method of gauging water quality. As a chemist, I can attest to there being far more accurate test methods, but such methods are very expensive and time consuming. I am in the military stationed in Japan and live off base. FYI, Japan does not fluoridate their municipal water. I also have a water filter installed in my home. I tested my home water with and without the filter. The normal municipal water is pretty good anyway so I wasn't shocked to see no difference between the samples.However I also tested the base water, which does fluoridate and also tastes a little funny so I was expecting some differences in the test results. NO CHANGES ON ANY READINGS!!So, just to be sure I went and bought a bottle of fluoridated water - STILL NO DIFFERENCE FROM ANY OF MY TESTS!!These test strips are absolutely useless. DO NOT BUY!!!

I bought this product for a science experiment my daughter has to do for her science fair project. I like it that it is not complicated and she can work with it herself without any help. I would recommend the strips kit to everyone!

The strips did what they said. I used these and another brand’s strips for a design of experiment, and I got what I wanted. The strips would bleed together, but didn’t expect anything less. Also got the strips for my own curiosity for our well water and went ahead and shared with my friends and family. Gave them a heads up on where to find them too!! I used these test strips for aquarium water and find the test strips hard to use because the 15 test pads are to close together and bled over on each other.

Well, since you pestered me to write a review: They simply didn't work. One strip exposed to one source of water, the other strip to a different, filtered source.......and essentially zero difference in the readings. The readings showed zero ppm fluoride from municipal tap water - just not realistic. The majority of the other readings were at zero, as well. So....I returned the unused strips. That's my review.

Purchased the test strips for a science project. Received product as described. Arrived by the date designated and properly packaged. Product is easy to use and the website is helpful. There were plenty of strips for retesting. Thank you. "

This is a very professional product. The owners of the family business are also professional. It would be beyond my expertise to say if it is accurate. I have only used it one time so far. I was actually disappointed when my water tested within the EPA guidelines. LOL! It comes with lots and lots of important information about ground water and it's possible contaminants.
