Order the 55L or the 85L?
I didn't know whether to order the 55L or the 85L, so I ordered both to choose from. I want a pacsafe that will fit my motorcycle full face helmet and tech jacket, and standard backpack (to lock to my bike). The 55L only fits the backpack (I could put my jacket in the backpack). In the 85L I was able to fit all 3 items comfortably. This is just what I needed, and it is just over 1-pound to carry.

Much bigger than advertised
I bought this to use to secure my soft luggage on an extended motorcycle trip. I read a lot of reviews from people saying it was bulky and obtrusive to use for backpackers, but for motorcycle use it is perfect. Any lock is only going to keep honest people honest, but this will keep sticky fingered types from pilfering my stuff on a whim. The one frequent complaint with which I agree is the size of the net. I checked out the measurements vs the measurements of my bags, where I planned to attach it on my bike, etc. and chose the 85L Pacsafe. I have a 100L drybag and a second 35L tailbag. The 85L Pacsafe easily covers both bags together, attaches to the bike, and is still left looking quite lose. In some cases it's probably good to get a little extra for your money, but in this case I'd just like to know I'm ordering something that will fit my application.

Not that secure IMHO
First I ordered the 55L one to fit my 24L backpack and the 55L was small so I returned it and got the 85L. It fit by 24L pack perfectly (any bigger pack and no way the 85L would fit it; sizing is WAY off on these). Once I had this on my pack I was still able to pull things from the pack and out the webbing. The lock is a joke too (it could be picked in a couple minutes easy; less if you're a career criminal). I wish I could find a slash proof, cabled bag that would fit over my 24L pack and lock down tight. THEN they would have a solid product (if they included a REAL lock).

Great 10 years ago and loved to have found netting again!!
Used on a decade ago while backpacking Europe and when decided to start traveling random places again it was among first thoughts to seek another out. Was happy to find.Opened it, fiddled with it, and again it's satisfying. The size this big is going to be weighty, don't be surprised, but it's not terrible once you consider the size pack it needs to cover and the fact that it's a part of how sturdy it's made.Very good quality but sizing is an issue I found today. Previously I'd opened it and as said, fiddled with it, to make sure it was the same quality as in the past and there were no defects. It absolutely was made great. But I just tried to put in on my filled pack today as a dry-run for my upcoming trip. This is an 85L cover, my pack is a 65L... No matter what I did I could not get this thing to cover it. I even removed some of my top items down by about a liter, maybe a tad more, and this still only came to around 2/3 - 3/4 of my pack.Am now buying a 120L to make sure it covers completely and, assuming it does as that size should be well over enough!, any extra items I may find a need to secure.

Great for motorcycle travel also
I use mine to secure my riding jacket, pants and boots to the bike when I am away from bike acting like a tourist. I have a separate device for helmet, although I could put it in with gear. Not too heavy for bike, might be if you are carrying it on your back. Overall it gives me piece of mind when leaving very expensive, hard to replace gear unattended.

Sizes not labeled correctly
I have an 80L Arcterx back pack and purchased the 85L pack safe - but it will only fit halfway!? Ughhh what a pain in the ass to return and regroup on securitizing my bag. I’m sure it works fine ... so frustrating. While mine states it is 85; it looks more like a 55L
