Not working properly 2 days after installation, but installation is too expensive to justify returning it :(
This hood would be great if was working properly, but only a day or two after installation, it started to make a loud sound when the fan is turned off... as if the fan mechanism is hitting something it shouldn't be as it slows down. It doesn't make this sound while the fan is running- only while it is slowing to a stop. It was not cheap to have it installed, otherwise I'd be sending it back.Not sure if this problem is the fan's fault or the seller not thoroughly checking out the refurbished products.

The only problem is finding the right size filter for it to replace. The size is 12 3/4 x 14. Difficult to find

Nice range hood
Just upgraded from a 20 year old range hood. Thought I got the wrong size at first. I have 12 inch cabinets and it sticks out a little, but you can have it vent back into the room if need be that way. It seems like ok quality. The fan isn’t the quietest, but it’s not that bad either and it seems to work well.
