Q: What terminal do I use with this switch?

This switch has one terminal in the middle and 12 terminals in a circle. The terminals on the circle get connected, one at a time, to the middle terminal as you turn the knob click by click. At any time, only one circle-terminal is in contact with the middle terminal. I usually do not use the the 1st and 12th of the circle-terminals. This gives me an OFF position when the knob is all the way to the the end of the rotation. I hope this answers your question.

Hello! The angle of throw for the switch is 30 degrees (3 clicks equal 90). From stop to stop the knob moves 150 degrees (5 clicks, 6 positions). Hope this helps!

This is a low voltage switch and is not protected for high voltages. I would think DC 12v and currents up to 1 amp.
