Nice phone. Not perfect but, I'm happy.
I'd give it a 4.5 stars if it were an option. Still read my whole review since I did have some issues with the phone.First the details: This is my first unlocked phone, my first rugged smart phone and, my first "China Phone". I'm using it on the T-mobile network(4G LTE) in the USA. Here's my initial review after having owned this phone for a week now. I'll update it if/when I drop the phone or, I feel it needs correction. The phone arrived 2 days early and, in new condition. The phone was charged to 91% when i first turned it on. All the promised accessories were included and in working order.Connecting it to T-Mobile was painless. I inserted my 2 year old Nano SIM card from my Samsung Galaxy J7 and the phone booted right up. All the APN settings (data, sms text, ect...) plugged in directly from the SIM card. The display/programming doesn't seem to contain an "LTE" symbol. To verify that I was on 4G- LTE I downloaded 2 different cell signal analyzers. Both show that I'm on the LTE network (see screenshots) I'm about half a mile away from the tower I'm connected to with, a concrete plant and electrical distribution lines between it and this phone. The reception is a bit better than my old J7.Physically:It's big. The phone seems sturdy. It doesn't give at all when I try to squeeze or twist it's frame. The power, volume and, camera's physical buttons have a quality feel. They give a good tactile feedback when pressed. They don't don't feel loose or chintzy. The headphone jack and USB-C port covers seem properly made as well. They feel sturdy and fit snugly, without being difficult to insert or remove. These covers seem to be made of a rubberized plastic and have small O-rings that help seal out the water.I'm not entirely happy with the SIM card tray/port set up, which is made differently than the Headphone/USB ports. It's a harder plastic and, I don't see the same waterproofing. The cards (I'm using 1 nano SIM and 1 - 128 gig micro SD card Silicon Power-128GB High Speed MicroSD Card with Adapter ) aren't secured in the tray at all. They just rest gingerly in the tray while it's outside the phone. The cards rest in the same tray and must be inserted together. The cards tend to shift when trying to insert them into the narrow slot. It took me 3 tries to properly insert the SIM and SD cards. On my second attempt, it felt as if one of the cards shifted, wedging itself inside between, the phone and the tray. The tray jammed slightly but, light pulling and wiggling freed it for my 3rd and final attempt. Due to the tray's design and difficultly with use, I opted to format that 128 gig SD card to my phone as extra storage. I'd caution everyone against pulling the tray and swapping out cards as a way of transferring data. I feel that extensive use of the sim card tray would lead to a damaged phone, sim card or, both.As I've said I haven't dropped it yet but, I did place it in a sink full of water for roughly 3 minutes and, it came out fine. Nothing leaked, not even the SIM/SD port. I didn't notice any ill affect on the microphones or speakers either.Software and App wise:The fingerprint reader works flawlessly. it hasn't given me any problems. The phone comes pretty bare-bones. It comes pre-loaded with the necessary operating system software(Android 7.0, Android security patch May 5, 2018) sms text, phone, camera, app loader, etc... There's no bloatware to speak of unless you count the Google apps bundle it comes with. It's standard Google fair... Chrome, maps, play store, gmail, YouTube, etc...(you can disable these but, not uninstall them).I've added about 25 other apps to the phone so far. It's all pretty standard stuff from the play store. I did this right out of the gate. I also transferred my contacts, calendar etc... before I realized...VERY IMPORTANT INFO:----> There seems to be a problem with the pre-installed app launcher "Laucher3". For the first 2 days I had the phone I experienced numerous "System UI has stopped working" type crashes followed by an immediate phone restart(not quite a full reboot) though I was required me to reenter my pin to unlock the phone. I also had some "[app] has stopped working" messages where the rest of the phone worked fine but, I had to manually reboot the phone to use that same app again. These crashes always occurred while exiting out of an app. The System UI crashes occurred when closing multiple apps at once using the "Recently Used Apps" button.THE SOLUTION:-----> I downloaded "SMART LAUNCHER 5" and set that as my default "Home/ Launcher" and, I've only had 1 UI crash in 4 days now. Story: I explained the issue to a computer tech friend of mine, who told me "it sounds like the launcher isn't handing things off correctly" and suggested that I try a different launcher. I took that advice and tried several launchers including Nova launcher and Google Now with varying success. Smart Launcher 5 has worked the best for me by far.Battery:It charges quickly and lasts forever. I have no doubt it's truely 9000 mAh. I've watched hours of video that was stored on the phone and it barely made a dent in the battery. The only time battery use is really noticeable is when I'm streaming the video I'm watching. Even then, the battery still holds like a champ. No complaints about the battery or, charge rate/times.Phone, Camera:Pretty basic. both work fine and perform as you'd expect. I've added 2 pics. The one where you can see the whole white car is from the 13 mp back camera. The pick with half of that same car is from the 5 mp front one.

Kept dropping the network!
I bought the phone and waited impatiently for it. I was excited and had high expectations. It got here on time. The battery does last forever. However the phone kept dropping the network (verizon). I wouldnt even realize i didnt have service until one day at 3 oclock in the morning i received about 10 text messages from different people all at once thats when i knew something was up. This happened about 2 times and after that i restarted the phone about 6 times a day just to make sure i had a network connection and sure enough everytime i did that i would get texts or missed calls. This problem renders the phone completely useless. From my personal experience i would not recommend the phone to anybody. Needless to say i ended up returning it. What a waste of time for me and seller.

Is great for everything but being a phone.
I am on straight talk via Verizon, CDMA, NW area.If you want calls and txt to work and come though like any phone ever...this is not the phone for you.Is it amazing at taking a hit, yes, does it have a battery that will last a week, for sure, do you need it to function as a phone, NOPE.You will lose network without even moving around, with no warning, for no set amount of time. You will get txt in bundles...at random times, and say cool stuff like "oh cool, there is my weeks worth of txt"...if you like txt like an Easter egg hunt this phone is very much for you.If you like having to reset your phone pretty much ever time you cross a zip code, man this phone is for you.Great at everything else but being an actual phone.

Great phone with some downsides
Battery life is awesome, good camera, tough as nails. However getting the Sim tray out took forever, and the fingerprint sensor seems to have died after charging it once .. not a deal breaker for me but annoying.

Great phone.
The battery is amazing. I've been getting 3 to 4 days use out of a single changing. It is a little large and heavy for a phone, but sturdy. I don't worry about dropping it or getting it wet.
