This was my first (and probably my last) time purchasing this brand. I've been watching all the ads on social media. Ryze has been pumped up to be the best. I wanted to love it....it has almost the exact ingredients of cheaper brands, but for some reason, taste the worse.... Please, don't believe the hype! Try several different brands then choose your favorite...I find this brand to be bitter and gritty... it says to use 1 tablespoon for every 8-10 oz of water. (Same instructions for most brands). If you follow these instructions, you will have a thin, bitter, gritty beverage that is in definite need of flavor. I've tried adding things to it to make it palatable, only for the bitterness to be enhanced. The only things it has going for it, are the cute little stir spoon that came with it and the statement that it is sourced in the U.S. The package is pretty.... I will not purchase again. It definitely is not worth the money. It is a cup of disappointment...Update: After writing the first review, I was contacted by the company. They sent suggestions on ways to enjoy the coffee. I found, it wasn't the products fault but actually consumer error! I was wrong! The coffee is good, if you dissolve it in hot water while constantly stirring or using a frother (it took about 5-10 minutes) then I reheated it and added flavors. The company suggested adding cinnamon, honey and oat milk. I must say, they know their product! The grittyness is now gone! I'm so happy they reached out to me. This morning, I am enjoying a cup. I will continue to experiment with different flavors and creamers. I will purchase this brand again! I hope the company will start letting people know to dissolve the product first. It would save a lot of aggravation.😂

I read through the reviews before finalizing purchase. Most of the low rated reviews were pointed towards taste, I have a very sensitive stomach and can easily get nauseous. However I chose to take the chance because the potential benefits are worth the chance in my opinion.My first cup I mixed this coffee as directed and it wasn't a terrible taste but definitely earthy. Which again isn't bad. It's nutty too. But could feel my mood improve tremendously, I had also pulled at 18 hr shift by this point due too my business needing attention.My second cup I chose to make my own coffee the way I make it because I have my own organic coffee line amd could see I could easily mix this powder in with my normal every day coffee. Turned out splendid!!! I would recommend mixing this mixture in with your normal daily cup of coffee, it actually makes it it's own taste but the effects are still there. I can say I won't go another day without this being the first cup of coffee I have daily.Definitely improves digestion.I struggle with high functioning anxiety, and I have 4 businesses I own and operate so the ability to obsess or over think on things can be a struggle for me, I feel this coffee has helped me not fixate on something or get "stuck in the emtion" of something. So it definitely helps with over thinking.I'm all about natural remedies to keep us away from pharmaceuticals. This is something I think could help many people. It's worth the money to try.This company has done a very good job and I am happy to support them and have this coffee as my daily routine.Thank youMs. Hunter

Just negotiated my first 10 oz cup - with 1 oz of heavy cream, so I'm commenting almost exclusively on the taste and the smell.In a nutshell, definitely "not horrible" as far as the taste - my way of saying "pretty good", perhaps on the tame side (and I actually like light or at the most medium roast coffee) so next time I'll do 8 oz of hot water for more concentration.Now, regarding the smell... it smells like... anyone?.. that's right, MUSHROOMS! Whoever said that give yourself a Gold Star lol!The good news there is that our sense of smell is the most quickly adaptable of all our senses, so we can expect to "learn to love it" in short order... or at least accept it, as long as the advertised benefits are at least somewhat detectable of course - otherwise, would be the point?What else - right, cost... well, right in line with Keurig, so...Finally, it appears to be approximately half as caffeinated as an average cup of coffee, so perhaps one third of a Starbucks cup, therefore any changes in energy level, focus, mood etc. could probably be attributed to the 'shrooms, not caffeine.I'm looking forward to continuing drinking and evaluating it - if anyone's on the fence I say give it a try.
