Almost 1000 miles!! The BEST!
This is the BEST hydration vest! We’ve got just over 1300 miles together in heat, rain, shine, snow, lol hail unfortunately lol, you name it. Even a few never ending creek runs!I go everywhere with it! I’m an avid trail runner, hiker, woods walker, and I even grab it for over my chest protector when I ride my dirt bikes!I trail run and hike with my pack of 5 dogs and I’ve got plenty of room for fuel, a bladder and soft flasks for dogs and me, first aid for us all, dog sling in case I gotta carry one out. It does not even begin to show the abuse it’s had over the almost 3 years I’ve had it! I can go way off grid for 8-9 Mike runs or hikes and just run dry as we get to the truck. Mind you I do make sure we are near creeks etc! I will never be without this vest, I truly hope they never discontinue it! The fit is phenomenal also!! Thank you Osprey! It’s a dream to have 1 vest that covers all my activities!! My big backpacking pack is also Osprey, you can NOT beat the quality!!

Great for my 12 hour adventure race!
I tried two other packs while training for an adventure race and ultimately decided that this one was the best! Another one of my teammates bought this too and we both love it. I tried another, smaller pack that was higher on my back and it hurt my back while biking. This one was great for running and biking. It didn't rub or move while running and had enough room and accessible pockets for our water, food, layers, and emergency supplies.

I thought I loved until my Osprey Raven 14 and then I tried this
It wasn’t that long ago that I got an Osprey Raven 14 and fell in love. Not the first pack I’ve fallen in love with. I have a large, serious multi-day hike backpack from MountainSmith that I still love after years of use. Indeed, that Osprey Raven isn’t the first Osprey pack I have really, really liked. Osprey seems to come out with a lot of superior packs. I was however surprised at how quickly I found something even better than the Raven – this Dyna 15. I would note that the Raven is designed for use while biking, but I loved it for hiking, too! Until I met the Dyna. This is a very comfortable and functional pack. Both the Dyna and the Raven hug my back, in a good way, keeping everything close to my body and thus, well balanced. The Dyna surpasses the Raven in having a softer and lighter back. The Raven has a fairly stiff backpanel. That could be a plus if you are carrying something with irritating edges that poke into your back. Instead, the Dyna has a nice double mesh layer on the back, which is great for keeping the wearer cool and lets sweat evaporate.I love the small pockets in the vest-like front. The vest/strap front is very comfortable and the pockets are so convenient, especially for holding a phone. There are also other little pockets hidden here and there on the pack.Osprey gives these features for the Dyna:• Osprey Hydraulics 2.5 LT reservoir with QuickConnect and sternum strap magnet for bite valve• Front panel zippered main compartment and separate zippered internal reservoir sleeve• Front panel zippered slash pocket• Accessible dual lower side panel zippered stretch mesh pocket• Lower stabilizing/expansion compression straps• Snap-in adjustable/removable dual chest straps for customized stability• Vertical zippered harness slash pocket for valuables or phone• Dual extra-large stretch mesh soft flask/food harness pockets• Dual lower stretch mesh food/supplement harness pockets• Trekking pole attachment• Tuckaway safety whistle• Front panel stretch mesh compression pocket• Hipbelt stabilizing wrap with zippered pocketsBut that’s JustMe.

I love this vest
This vest is rad and I'm in love with it. I'm much bigger than the stated size, wearing an 18w top and 20w jeans, but the vest fits well. The shoulder pockets don't reach as far down in front when the bladder is full, but it's still comfortable when it's adjusted right. I'd recommend trying it out with and without a full bladder (or something similar in size and weight) in the hydration sleeve and a decent amount of cargo in the main pocket before committing to it.The bag has a ton of great pockets and even the ability to strap down trekking poles. One of the chest pockets is big enough for a larger phone, but the placement isn't ideal on me because the pocket curves over my chest and obviously my phone doesn't. The outside stuff pocket is fantastic and convenient. I love the stretchy mesh fabric they used. It does clip over the main pocket so you have to unclip it to access your main cargo. There's an interior pocket on top for electronics and other small items, which is nice because it keeps them up and away from the bladder, in case there's a spill or leak. You can access that pocket even if the stuff pocket is clipped shut. The hip pockets are big enough to hold quite a bit of stuff as well. There are also pockets on the sides, where you can strap the poles, that I'm able to access without taking off the bag. The hydration bladder goes in its own pocket at the back. It's all brilliant. For me I prefer to have several pockets rather than more space, so I love it.When I carry a backpack, I usually bring two 1L water bottles, one in each side pocket. This bag can't do that since it doesn't have suitable side pockets, and is time-consuming to put on and take off, so carrying water bottles inside the main pocket isn't ideal. That does limit the versatility of the bag somewhat, as it doesn't work as well for transitioning back and forth between full-on trail running and laid-back ambles where carrying a hydration bladder might not make sense. So I have to move my stuff between bags a lot.The hydration bladder is decent but it makes water taste bad like every other bladder I've used before. Like it hurt my throat at first. It has a closure that can be hard to open as the material melds to itself and you have to rip it apart. It can be hard to hold the mouth open to fill it, especially if you have to fill it with a pitcher or jar because it doesn't fit under your faucet. It does have nice features and a convenient quick release, and the tube comes extra long so you can cut it to whatever length you prefer. I really like the bite valve because it's easy to operate by hand, so I can spray water onto my dog's tongue.I can get over all of the hydration bladder issues except the yucky taste. I tried to make it taste better by using lemon but it only helped until the lemon flavor dissipated. Since I share water with my dog I was uncomfortable with using lemon anyway. I was at an outdoor store recently and discovered Platypus hydration bladders, so that's what I'm trying next. I'm going up get the Big Zip Evo model which is available on Amazon. They're made of sheet plastic that doesn't change the taste of water. The tube for the hydration bladder has a magnetic fastener to attach it to the top sternum strap, and it works really well if it isn't covered up. The sternum straps have lots of slack even on big people, so the tail of the strap almost always covers the magnet, and the tube won't connect to the magnet unless you hold the strap out of the way with your other hand. You can tuck the end in but it will come out as you move. I'm bewildered by this because the bag is so well-designed in every other way. Even the model in the photos has the strap tail tucked behind the sternum strap. It should have a keeper. Btw, the magnet clip is removable and replaceable so you can take it off of the top strap and put it on the bottom strap or leave it off if you want. Or you could move it to a different bag, even. Pretty cool! All the Osprey vests I've seen use a plastic snap-on clasp to open, close and adjust the height of their chest straps. To put it on, you snap the plastic clip onto a plastic rail, and to take it off you pull on the clip's little webbing strap. It's easy to adjust whether you're wearing or holding the vest. I've never seen anything like this closure on other vests or bags. It keeps the strap from migrating, and it's way easier to use than the types my CamelBaks use, where you have to slide the clasp onto a thin string (while looking in a mirror). I wonder about longevity with these but Osprey guarantees their bags so hopefully they'll cover any issues. For me, I can't keep the bag on my shoulders without having the chest straps connected. Just a note in case that's an issue for your planned use. There is no carrying handle, just a little loop to run a hanger hook through. I miss that handle, especially if I go from the woods to the dog park and don't want to set the bag on the ground while I play with my dog. It's such a beautiful bag, I don't want it all gross. I hope they add a handle in the next year's model.Based on the photos, I wouldn't naturally choose either of the women's colors offered this year, but I really do love how this bag looks in person. The brilliant teal and coral are cheerful and summery and probably higher-vis than what I'd usually pick, which is good. The black accents and logo are stealth reflective areas, and light up really well when you hit them with a flashlight.Altogether this bag is stupendous. I can't say enough good things about it. It's beautiful and functional and thoughtful and comfortable.

Love it
I was looking for a hiking camel back that could 1) hold enough water 2) fit well over my boobs and 3) have areas for me to put other things. This fits the bill. Works perfect for everything. I have a much smaller version for running and this larger 15L version is perfect for all day adventures!
